Returning back to Mentor, I knew that my mission was not yet over as I explained to him of what the Templars are planning.
"Hm, it appears we will aquire more help than I thought." He responded.
"Who would you have in mind Master?" I asked.
"There is a loyal Assassin to the cause that is fighting to regain power. Her name is Shao Jun. Her brother lead a group of Assassins and she was left behind to improve her skills. She was taught a thing or two by the Master Assassin, Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Find her and have her aid." I nodded and heading to the last location of Shao Jun.
It was a mountain full of Templars ordering their private slaves to carry crates of certain minerals from the mountain, I looked around and saw only despair and sadness, no Shao Jun to be found.
"Are you from the Order?" A hooded figure said behind me and I turn around to see Shao Jun herself.
"Yes I am. It is an honor to meet with you Lady Jun." I kneel to show my appreciation.
"Please, just Jun will do. Am I requested to return?"
"Not exactly return but we could use your aid. I heard you're finding a Templar out in this area." I looked over the horizon and saw a Templar gathering.
"Ahh yes, he's right over there." Jun pointed in the distance of a Templar barking orders to the grunts.
"He seems promising. What are they doing on this mountain side?"
"He and his dogs are trying to find an Piece of Eden. With it, this world will fall more easily to them."
"Then we better get moving and bring him peace." I throw my hood over my head and Jun and I leap off the cliff we were surveilling and landed in a cart of hay.
As we snuck out, we quietly made our way to the Templar leading the charge. There were guards blocking the entrance, but Jun and I easily made quick work of them. We arrived to the gathering and quickly climbed to higher ground and listened in.
"My lord, the Piece of Eden is not here, if we continue to look our men will die from hunger or exhaustion. I plead that you allow us to come back another day." A kneeling Templar had requested. The leader simply walked towards him, grabbing his sword and slashed both his eyes, possibly making him blind, the Templar screamed in pain and the others were shocked.
"He clearly did not see the goal of our mission and for that, his punishment was to see the darkness he was wishing upon us all. If the Master says the Piece of Eden is on the Mountain side, THEN IT IS THERE!! Are their any others who oppose the Master's will?" That's when Jun and I jump from the cliff, drawing out our swords and taking out two random guards in the process.
"You can handle him, I'll deal with the henchmen." Jun immediately attacked the guards behind us.
"Ah, you must be that Assassin that killed Daiyu. I am Han, I will not fall to your blade as he did." He drew out his sword and took a stance.
"We shall see." We rushed at each other and clashed. Han displayed tremendous strength as each blow, made me only resort to blocking, I looked and attempted to see a weakness, but I saw nothing. Han then kicks me back and goes for a jumping slash, I quickly roll out of the way and rush him. I then applied my speed and began overwhelming him with blows that he had no choice but to block. I then took advantage and low sweep him to the ground as I get back up and jam one of my swords into his stomach. He immediately coughed up blood.
"Tell me: What is the Templar's plan?"
"There is a Piece of Eden... not far from these mountains... with it it is said to give a warrior unimaginable powers... I... wanted it for the Grand Master... but it seems he has lead us astray..." Han then laughed quietly as he slowly passed, acquiring his peace.
"You were too afraid to tell your men that you were tricked and they'd lose hope in you and the cause. Though you are a Templar you allowed a Leader to somewhat grow in you as well, rest in peace." I closed his eyes and looked around as I saw Shao Jun dealing with the leftover Templars.
A Piece of Eden that's said to give anyone unimaginable power... Whatever that power is, maybe part of that Grand Master's plan.
