"She made it, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace," the doctor tells the parents of a child.

"Thank God!," they cried and thanked God for the miracle that had happened to their daughter.

Ever since they found out that their daughter has a very rare type of bone cancer, they have been strong followers of God. They are the parents of Elaine Wallace.

Elaine is a miracle child. She was the one who had cancer at the very young age of three. Her cancer is dangerous yet very curable.

They thought she wouldn't survive. After when they've found out about her disease, she discontinued being an active kid. But she fought and they all believed that she will make it. And she did.

"Is she gonna be alright? Will she last because I can't afford to live a life not being a mother," Mrs. Wallace told the doctor.

"She will and there is a probability of life chances that she'll survive. Longer, maybe years," the doctor told her and that made them much comfortable. "We still don't know yet because so far, of all the records, she's the only kid who survived in her case."

Her life went on for more years. She became a normal kid but a rocky path went ahead of them when it has reached their minds that she needed to go to school. As a parent, they were scared of the dangers and whatnots that could be out there. So, they had Elaine homeschooled. It wasn't the best idea for her future but they let her safety go first more than anything.

Now, she is 19 years old. Passed the universities and glad to say that she wouldn't be homeschooled until this time. She's stronger now and she had a lot of interest in art.

Present time

"Elaine, I love your artworks!", "They are magnificent, well done Ms. Wallace!", the common phrases she gets after a masterpiece was done.

Working her whole self out and paying her full attention to arts, that's who she is. She lives in the saying, 'Do not let opportunities pass you, grab all of it and take risks.' But she took that in a very different way.

"El, why don't you go out some time? Have some fun!", "Stop doing anything, Elaine! Give your work a break", are also the common phrases she gets from friends and sometimes, her family.

Her parents warned her to be careful that her cancer might come back. She always find that a joke because it has been a trick to her ever since she was a kid. She didn't believe them.

Knowing that there are still unsafe risks that her sickness might still come back, she had developed a very strong faith in God.

"I need to work on this new thing. I should try and maybe find a new inspiration," she said to herself.

Whenever she wants to be with herself and be at peace, she always go to this bench on the top of the hill near the park. Sometimes, she would bring her small drawing book and imagine things up there. She always imagined how things would be to her if she was normal like everybody else.

"Do you come here often?", a voice asked her from behind while she was in the middle of her quiet time all by herself.

"Yeah," she answered. "Do you?"

"As much as you do I think, yes," he answered and that, his and Elaine's eyes met.

"Have I met you before?", Elaine tries to look normal and lick her very pale lips.

"Nope," he walks up to her and said, "but I have met you. I love your artworks, by the way."

"Oh, thank you. It's so nice to meet a guy who actually appreciates art," she gave him a friendly, sickly smile.

"You don't meet a lot of art-appreciating guys, huh?", he asked.

"I, for one, actually haven't met a lot of guys. I don't know how to categorize them when it comes to really appreciating my art. But you're the first," she again smiled at him trying to run her pencil along her drawing book. "With my professors and relatives aside."

"And I go to the same university as you."

"Really?", she asked. "By any chance for me to know the man's name?"

"I'm Louis," the guy tells her. "Louis Tomlinson."

"For formality, I would like to introduce myself," she sighed and put her drawing materials down. "I am Elaine Wallace."
