CHAPTER 5: The Date? PART: 2

Serena was confused. Ash - the most popular boy in the school - was taking her (the least popular girl on school) to one of the most expensive restaurants around. But why? That was what she kept thinking until they walked in. "Serena, I know where we should sit." Ash said, gesturing. Why was he like this? Dawn did say he was nice and had manners, but she was unpopular. He shouldn't be like this to her. "Well okay Ash, lead the way." She replied, following Ash. Once they got there, she gasped.

They were gonna sit at a balcony with the most beautiful view of the sunset. And there was only one table, with two chairs, that were there. The perfect place to go on a date. Was Ash taking Serena on a date? Little did they both know, this date would very soon get out of hand. Two people and one Pokemon were watching him. "You sure that's him?" a woman like voice was heard, filling the area. They were nowhere near Ash and Serena. "Affirmative." The other replies. It was a man. "Meowth! This kids said to have got all Pokemon to ever exist. Even the Alolan Forms!" A Meowth. This would have been a joke to anyone else, but these people were known as Pokemon thieves. Their name? Team Rocket!

"So Serena, what do you want?"Ash asked, looking at Serena.
"I'll take Moomoo Milk and Slowpoke Tail, If you don't mind." Serena replied, thinking 'this is expensive, i hope he's okay with this'. That was Serena's chance. "Look, Ash, I know we haven't gotten along in the past and you have used girls for the 'stuff' but I really like you..." She muttered, cursing herself under her breath for saying it.
"What was that?" Ash asked.
"Doesn't matter! Let's eat!"

Team Rocket we're eyeing Ash up. Would they hold him hostage - or just kill him? It didn't matter, they would get his Pokemon regardless. "Gourgeist, shadow ball!"

Jessie launched her attack at Ash and Serena. Would it miss, or would it hit?
