A cold but gentle breeze my hair, seeing as I had removed my hat because it kept blowing off. The rhythm of Eyrs flapping kept my thoughts on order. To be fair, she kept my whole life in order, she had been the one to find food when I was sick, and the one to make shelter before we found the treehouse.
'You bet so! You forget I'm a year older than you.' Eyrs intruded into my mind.
"How could I forget?" I responded. With that, Eyrs threw my for a loop, literally.
"Woooo!" I called as she arched her back, me hanging onto her saddle by the leg straps, my hands in the air. They was a sense of freedom that only flying could give me, they type of adrenaline rush you get from...from apprehending you enemies. She aimed down, and we landed on the beach by the pond not far from my house. After I removed myself from her back, she pranced around excitedly.
"Calm down! Let me get this thing off you!" I said in frustration. I took a step back and crossed my arms.
"This would go a whole lot faster if you would stop." I said, and she stilled immediately.
"Thank you." I said, and began to undo a few buckles. After about a minute, the saddle slackened and fell to the ground. Eyrs dove off into the pond, and I grabbed the saddle and leaned it up against a nearby tree after removing my breakfast from it. I strode over to a rock which served as a chair, sat down, and opened the container, and watched Eyrs. She twisted and turned through the water like the dolphins I had only heard about in stories. She emerged with a mouthful of fish, and plopped down next to me.

I waited for Eldrid to walk by so I could sneak up behind him and surprise him, but after a couple of minutes I got impatient and peeked around the corner.
"Looking for someone?" a voice behind me said creepily shooting a weird feeling down my back.
I turned and jumped back but tripped and ended up falling flat on my back with a loud Offf!
"Ow!" I complained softly.
Eldrid towered over me and mimicked cockily, "Ohhh, that's gotta hurt."
"Hurhurhur, very funny. I'm fine," I replied, grunting a little but refusing to cover up my stomach.
Was that blood?
"Oh, really?" he responded and poked me in the stomach again.
I crunched my stomach a little and inched back. "Yep, absolutely!" I exclaimed in a slight sarcastic tone through gritted teeth and a pained smile.
"C'mon lets get you pqtcged up again before you open up your wounds even more," Eldrid sighed, picking me up. Although he was not stronger than me he was taller than me and was still pretty strong, so he picked me up with ease. I tried pushing him away but seeing that it was of no use I just let him do his thing.
Eldrid was packing me up with utmost care. Something was up. He was trying to make sure that I was patched so well that I wouldn't be able to reopen my wounds even if I fell of a cliff. I just knew something bad had happened.
"I told you already, I'm fine. I'm actually more worried abou- " I stopped mid-sentence and my eyes widened. I looked over at him and saw that he had stopped working and was looking down, avoiding my gaze.
"Where's Aithne?"

We apologize for being gone for so long. But now we're back and we'll try to update at least once a week.
Unfortunately Luke-the-mean-girl has decided to discontinue her side of the story, so from now on it'll only be me and MJSerfling.
