It has been 3 years since the night Aaleeyah had a wet dream about Roc and it was the last time India ever heard from her bestfriend

She would often blame herself for Aaleeyah's disappearance. India thought that if she had focused more on her, instead of other things. Aaleeyah would still be here

But in reality, her bestfriends guilt drove her away. Since time stops for no one, India continued to live her life and grow as a person while achieving the goals she set for herself 

A few months after Aaleeyah's disappearance, India got into contact with Trey. He turned his life around and finally got rid of Natalie after he found she was only using him for his money

But behind every dark cloud is a rainbow, Trey and India married in the summer of 2018 and now have a beautiful 2 year old daughter.

12 year old Nyla is a straight A student in school and recently was placed on the principal's list at her school.

Nyla was finally happy, she spent a lot of time with her new family and no one bothered her at school after she got into a fight with her former bully

However, this story didn't end well for every character

Natalie's family went bankrupt and went from riches to rags. She now works a 9 to 7 , Monday through Saturday at Walmart

Everyday she lives with regret over the way she treated Trey, deep down she did have a strong love for him but its hard to love someone, who doesn't feel the same way about you

Aaleeyah on the other hand lives in a nice neighborhood in Manhattan, New York. She has a 4 year old son and is newly married

One day she will reach out to India and reveal the truth to her. The two will surely but slowly build back the bond they had.

The moral of this story is, you choose your destiny in life. You can either make it or break it but in the end, the decision is for you to make

Never forget where you came from and never regret anything in life because tomorrow won't be the same as yesterday.

Everyone has a different path in life, never stray from yours and always remain focus on your goals. Don't let anyone take away your shine because one day the pain will finally be worth it.

Nyla looked up at India, smiling "What do you think about it?" she questioned

India looked down at her younger sister as tears formed in her eyes "Mom and Dad would be so proud to know we have a writer in the family"

Hearing those words formed butterflies in Nyla's stomach "You think I'll win the contest?"

India nodded "You can win anything you put your mind to Nyla. I love you so much"

"And I love you India"
