Chapter Two

     Huey's POV

We arrived at the mall to Jazmine's delight but I was the complete opposite. Full of superficial people only caring about wealth and social status. I already told Jazmine I'd go with her and she does not go quietly about the matter of taking back promises.

Because and I quote "A promise is a promise no matter how big or small." or incredibly stupid.

  She grabbed my hand basically dragged me into the mall. We went into her favorite store Rue 21. She a lot of her time in here and most of the clothes in her closets originated from here. We were in there for about twenty minutes until I dragged her out saying," Why go in if your only gonna try on something and not buy them.".

  We were finally a good distance away from the store when I looked back at Jazmine to see she was giving me a horrible attempt of a glare. I smirked at her getting her even more angry. "Your... um.. quit.", she said blushing. She always got flustered when I smirked.
 
She looked around spotting a candy shop. She looked at me with with her bottomed lip puffed out. I nodded in a approval and walked with her into the store. When we she was done she picked out sweet watermelon and strawberry candies.

  After I bought them for her she hugged me and kissed me on the cheek saying," Thanks babe.".

  "Jazmine." I say looking at her with an obvious blush on my face.

  "What?", she says acting innocent like she didn't do anything wrong. She does this every time knowing how I react.

I look away from her and walk her to the ice cream parlor to make her forget what just happened. She picked out Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. When she order the cashier looked at her a certain way. When he was done he said," Hey mama, how would ya like to spend da night with me.".

"Um. No thanks. I'm not interested.", she replied looking very uncomfortable. Hearing him say that made me wanna flip out with anger. How dare he talk to her like that.

  "Come on. I know you want be come on babe.", he says  going to grab her arm. Before he could touch her I already grabbed his wrist. I kicked him in the stomach while popping his wrist out of socket.

   "AHHHH! MY ARM!", he yells while on the floor. I grabbed Jazmine's arm pulling her away from the scene and out of the car.

  I put her in her seat and closed her door slamming it. I walk over to my door swinging it open and sitting down. I put the key in almost breaking it from how mad I am.

  I hit the gas fast and face home. "Huey.....Huey. You're going to fast. What's wrong?", she says worried for me.

  "Distract me Jazmine please before I contemplate going back and murdering that guy.", I say with seriousness in my voice.

  Jazmine an tell how serious I am and starts telling my random things about her day. "Bobby told Joey that Mady was talking to Richard. They said they were gonna start dating even though everyone knew he was making out with Jessica last week end.", she says quickly.

  I speed home and grab her arm rushing into the house and into my room. She grabs my arm and pushed me on the bed. "Calm down, Huey.", she says laying beside me and cuddling I to my side. She really know how to get me to relax. I fall asleep with arm around her waist and Jazmine hugging me.
