Zabdiels POV

*After Kenia and Zabdiel talked to each other*
As I sat in my seat I was looking at Kenia. Her beautiful long brown hair. She grew up so gorgeously, Kenia looks so much different from the last time I saw her. Hopefully she sits next to me at lunch that way we could talk more. I couldn't stop staring at her she was so pretty. I then heard Miss.Jason saying something about a worksheet. And then Kenia turned around giving me a piece of paper. "Umm Zabdiel? Zabdiel here you go!" She said giving me a piece of paper. Omg she caught me staring, ugh this is so embarrassing! I quickly snapped out of my thoughts. "Wait what?" I asked getting my heads out of the clouds. "Here's the worksheet Miss. Jason said we have to work on." She stated. "Oh yeah right, I knew that mami!" I said taking the paper out of her hands and tried to playing it cool. She just giggled and turned around.
*at lunch*
The periods passed by quickly. I made my way into the cafeteria looking for Indie. She told me that her table would be in the middle of the lunch room with Kenia, Christopher, and Christopher's friends. Since I didn't know Christopher's friends I just kept my eye out for Indie, Kenia, and Chris. I kept on looking until I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Kenia. "Oh hey Kenia!" I said sounding relieved that she found so me. "You lost Zab?" She asked me. "I was until you found me Kenia." I replied. "Okay well since Indie told me you will be sitting with us follow me." She smiled. I quickly followed behind her as she lead me to the table and we both sat down. As we waited for the others we talked. "So Zab how's life? How have been for the past couple of years?" She said. "Life's good! And I love being back! Couldn't be happier. Of course I miss Puerto Rico but I have to get used to living here. What about you Kenny?" I replied. Kenny was the nickname I would call her when we're little. "I am good Zabdi!" Then these boys came and sat at our table. One of them had brown eyes and dark skin also he had curly hair pony and a SnapBack, the other was lighter skin and had a black bandanna, and the last one sat next to Kenia. He had light green eyes he was good looking, actually all of them were good looking. "Hola mami! Cómo estás bebe hermosa!" The boy said. I was a little disappointed to know that maybe Kenia already has a boyfriend. I mean I know that we just met again but this time my heart has a stronger feeling for her. I mean sure I had a crush on her when we were little but I was hoping that this year I would be able to make her mine. "Is that your boyfriend Kenia?" I asked her looking confused. "Yes-" the boy began but Kenia cut him off. I hesitated for a split second when he said that. "No," she said looking at the boy. The rest of the other guys laughed. "Zabdiel this is Erick. Erick this is Zabdiel. And Erick is not my boyfriend!" Erick rolled his eyes. "Oh and that's Richard and Joel. she said pointing at the boys behind me. "Dímelo papi! Yo soy Richard! Qué tal!" The boy Richard said giving me his hand to shake. "Mucho gusto conocerte!" I replied shaking his hand. " Y yo soy Joel!" The boy with the blue bandanna shouted waving his hand. I laughed a bit,"Jaja hola Joel!!" I waved back. Kenia, Richard, Joel, and even Erick all talked about each other. I got to know them a bit, and of course I had to talk a bit about myself too. I found out that we all have something in common, like we both love to sing! Shortly after Indie walked into the cafeteria holding hands with I am guessing is Chris. Wow Christopher looked also looked so much different from when I saw him! "Hey nice to see que todos se están llevando muy bien!" Indie smiled. "Ay mi hermano Zabdi cómo estás!" Christopher shouted letting go of Indies hand and giving me a hug. "Muy bien hermano! Estoy muy feliz estar aquí con ustedes!" I said hugging him back. Chris is like my bro since childhood so it only makes sense to call him that. Lunch was good. Today was good! I got to see Chris and Indie even though I am going to start seeing her like everyday. I got to meet the rest of there friends, and most of all I got to see Kenia again.
