When Richard came back Maine was still sitting on one of the chairs in the dining room. So he walked up to her and also sat on one of the chairs.
"Tapos ka na?" Maine asked
"Oo. Tapos na." Richard answered
"Tara sa labas." Maine said and stood up and walked outside. Richard just followed her.
On the way outside Maine grabbed a blanket and some pillows. When they reached the door, Maine opened it and went through. She laid the blanket on the grass outside and put the pillows on it. They laid on the blanket outside and silently stared at the sky full of stars.
After a few minutes, Nini came out the door and ran to Richard.
"Ay! Di na ako love ni Nini. Sa'yo nalang lagi pumupunta eh." Maine said while pouting
"Wag kang magpacute, di bagay sayo. Saka syempre sakin pupunta si Nini gwapo ko daw kasi eh" Richard said "Diba Nini gwapo si Richard?" Richard asked the dog
The dog just stared at him
"Di sumagot ibig sabihin, hindi ka daw gwapo." Maine said
"Silence means YES!!" Richard said
"Silence means NO!!" Maine said
"Bahala ka. Ayaw mo maniwala na gwapo ako eh." Richard said and pouted
"Hindi rin bagay sayo. Mas lalo kang pumanget." Maine said "Ang cute niyaaa!! OMG!!! Sana lagi nalang siya nakapout." Maine thought
They both laughed at what Maine said and continued talking.
After a few hours..
"Magtwetwelve na pala. Sige na umuwi ka na." Maine said while looking at her watch
"Sige. Iligpit muna natin 'to" Richard said while pointing to the blanket and pillows
After they returned the blanket and pillows back inside the house.
"Thank you nga pala sa potato balls pakisabi kay Dean. Bayaran ko nalang." Richard said as he gets his wallet to get some cash.
"Wag mo na bayaran. Ok lang yun sa kanya." Maine said
"Okay, sige. Thank you ulit." Richard said as he was about to get his bag and go out
"Hatid na kita sa labas." Maine said and smiled
"Sige." Richard said
Richard and Maine were already outside before he entered his car he turned to Maine
"I'm Richard Faulkerson Jr." Richard introduced himself and offered a hand
"I'm Nicomaine Dei Mendoza. You can call me Maine for short." Maine said and shook his hand
"Ang weird natin kanina pa tayo naguusap di man lang tayo nagintroduce ng sarili natin" Maine said while laughing
"Oo nga eh." Richard said while laughing like Maine
"Ano nga pala cellphone number mo?" Richard asked
Maine told him her cellphone number and he also gave his cellphone number
"Itetext ko ung name ko ah para matesting natin." Maine said
Richard's phone vibrated then looked at the text message
"Gumagana. Sige alis na ako. Thank you ulit!! Bye!!" Richard said as he enters his car
"Sige. Bye!!" Maine said as she waved goodbye to him
Richard started the engine of his car and waved goodbye to Maine as he drove off.
