His smile widens "ok my turn, what is your favorite subject?" he asks, I think for a while before "lunch" I answer smartly and he let's out a small chuckle. He smirks "the same" he says just as smartly, I let out a soft laugh as to not attract attention to us in any way. He smiles and rolls his eyes "ok, favorite karate move?" I ask, I've been wanting to ask him this for quite a while now. He has a thoughtful expression for a second or two "round-house kick" he says smiling proudly "jabs" I tell him. He nods in approval and I smile even wider, the rest of the dragons think I'm stupid for having jabs as a favorite move. The bell rings once again and we all scurry out, I walk with Jack until we got to the split point "see ya after this class" I tell him and walk to the changing rooms. I change into my light blue T-shirt and blue jeans and head out to wait for the rest of the class. I wait for about 5 minutes before the rest of the class come out of the rooms "ok class today we'll be doing laps so start runnin' " the teacher orders. I sigh and start jogging around the field while the rest follow "Kim" I hear Frank's voice say from behind me "yeah?" I ask not turning around or stopping. He runs in-front of me and stops me "you are working with the enemy here Kim" he tells me glaring.  I scoff and shove past him, he grabs my arm and I flip him "never take on a blackbelt unless your a blackbelt" I advise him. He just looks up at me confused, I roll my eyes "I flipped you Frank, you just got beat by a girl" I tell him plainly before jogging back to the front and completing my lap. I see the other dragons help Frank up and glare at me fiercely and I mean if looks could kill, I'd be 6 feet under. I send them one of my best sarcastic smiles and they glare even harder as if to kill me with their minds. I stop and take a drink "how long coach?" I ask Mrs Terry whom I call my coach. She looks at her stopwatch "pretty good Kim it's only 5 minutes and 39 seconds" she tells me happily. I smile proudly "I saw what happened there, they givin' you a hard time?" she asks sympathetically, referring to me flipping Frank. I sigh "I sat with the Wasabi warriors today and their giving me a hard time about that" I tell her truthfully. She sighs "I give you my full permission to beat them up" she says seriously, some people might see this as a joke but I know she means it. I nod and wait for the bell, 3...2...1...RING! And there it goes, I jog to the changing rooms and get re-dressed in my purple tank and jean shorts. I head to my next class which is free so I might as well go home since it's the last period. I see Jack standing in the hall, waiting "going home?" I ask him, he jumps a bit but sighs relieved once he sees that it's just me. He smiles and nods "I'll walk with you" I tell him and we walk, in silence a comforble silence until we reach my house "why are we here?" I ask him curiously. He looks at me strange "this is my house" he says pointing to the house next to mine "funny cause this is mine" I say pointing to my house with it's white and green walls, red roof and green grass. He smiles and so do I "looks like we're next door neighbors" he says happily and my smile grows like a cheshire cat's. Why am I so happy? I have a lot of friends so why am I so happy he, who I haven't known a day lives next to me? Well I kind of would love to be friends with him but I don't know why, you see I saw him, thought he would do good in karate, met him, sat with him at lunch, walked home with him and found out he's my new neighbor. I notice that my mom is sitting on the porch with another woman that I don't know. I walk up the creaky wooden stairs to our beautiful antique, wooden porch "hei mom" I greet looking directly at the unknown woman. My mom looks at me and smiles "hi sweety how was your day?" she asks oblivious to my confusion.  I smile a fake smile "good" I say lying through my teeth, her smile grows and I sigh internally, thankful that she didn't see through my facade. I look at the other woman, talking to my mom with my eyes 'who's she?' I ask her, realization hits her. She looks at the woman shocked "oh! Kim this is our new neighbor, Jackie and Jackie this is my daughter Kim" she introduces us. I smile at Jackie as Jack comes up the steps "I see you met my mom" Jack says happily, looking at me. My mom and Jackie look back and forth between us "you know eachother?" they ask in sync.
