Stranger
Nicki was in the kitchen preparing dinner while I played with auggie.
I felt so proud whenever I see auggie walk.
He even says da-da and he's always smiling, makes me the happiest man in the world.
He randomly bumps into me and uses me to catch his balance.
He's a trip, I'm happy to be home.
"Did honey tell you where she was going?" Nicki asked.
I walked up to her and kissed her while I had auggie screaming and squirming around on my shoulder trying to break loose.
"Nah, I didn't even see her leave." I said.
"She's been getting questioned heavy about her apartment being shot up." Nicki said.
"What are you doing man! You can't get away from Dr.Evil A!!!" I said gently slamming him on the couch.
He rolled off the couch and threw a little punch.
"Awwww!" I said clenching my chest as he continued throwing another.
"Babe." Nicki said.
I fell to the ground, "yess?"
"Foods ready." She said.
I quickly got up before august threw a pacifier at me.
"Woah, woah little man." I laughed.
"Come get your plate, I have to get ready to take august to his play date." She said placing my plate on the island.
"Play date with who?" I asked.
"Some rich twins, babe you don't know them. Don't worry about it." She said walking over grabbing him.
I shrugged and stood up, "smells good as fuck."
She smiled, "hope it taste as good as it smells."
I chuckled and sat down, "same."
She took auggie to get dressed and I just ate the spaghetti she made.
It was spicy just how I like it.
This was my first meal since I got home, time to put on some weight.
Moments later...
Nicki was all done getting ready.
Auggie was resting on me after he had gotten ready.
Nicki walked over to me and landed a kiss on my lips and grabbed little aug as I played the game with my feet on the coffee table because I can do that.
She grabbed auggies diaper bag and was headed out, she opened the door.
"Oh hi... um can I help you?" She asked.
"I'm here for august, it's important." Someone said.
"August someone's here for you." She said looking at me.
