Alisa froze seeing those nails on her shoulder. She was unable to look back to see what was behind her. She slightly started to turn her head to see who it was.
IT WAS MARY smiling at her.

She jumped away from her.
Mary said, "You should not do that dear. You will be punished for that." Alisa couldn't say anything. She was frozen. Mary laughed loudly and Alisa lost her sense and fell down.
After some time, she woke up. She saw, everything was "upside down". This is when she realized, not everything but.. She was hanged upside down!!! She was still at same room where she found the book. A little moonlight was fighting with darkness. Then she saw Mary who was coming towards her.
Mary told her to look to her right side. There, she saw a bathtub full of blood.

And then Alisa realized she was hanged over an empty bathtub which was connected to the bathtub full of blood. Mary said, "Within exact 24 hours, all the blood from that bathtub will be transferred to the empty bathtub. Alisa, If you can untie yourself and find a way to kill me, you will be safe. And if you fail to untie yourself in 24 hours.. YOU WILL DROWN IN BLOOD!!!" Saying this, Mary laughed very loudly and went away leaving Alisa hanging over the empty bathtub.
