**WARNING! I hope you read the last two books because in the chapter there are HEAVY spoilers if you didn't**

I woke up. I saw the square bright sun. I was inside the game once again.

When I got on my feet, I saw Dan. I didn't know how to react to this situation. I don't know how I would get out of it. AGAIN. Dan saw me so I asked:

"Dan, what the... nether am I doing here? Do you have an explanation?"

"No Mack, I don't."

"Do you have at least, I don't know, a theory or something?"

"I guess..." Dan stopped. He was scared to admit it.

"You guess what Dan?"

"I guess when we... I kissed you... you came with me. The radiation got you too."

"Okay, at least you corrected to you not us because I didn't kiss you, you were the one that did it. Now how am I going to leave the game? AGAIN?"

"I don't know Mack, sorry."

We were in the desert, and I didn't know why or how, I thought I've been there before. Was that the desert where the old lab's located? So I decided to walk, hoping to find a iron construction on the horizon.

"Where are you going?" Dan shouted, in a worried tone, even though he didn't want to show it.

"To the lab. After all it's where we are looking for right?"

"Helloo? We are in the desert! Our lab locates in a jungle!"

"Helloo? I'm looking for the old one! This looks like the right desert."

"But every desert looks the same!"

"Do not dare to question my Geography and Biome skills, I always get A in every single exam and test." Actually it was -A or B but I like Geography and I know deserts, but to be honest, I wasn't very sure if we were in the right desert. I was using only my instincts, but Dan couldn't know that I could be wrong.

Dan decided to follow me, but he stayed behind. Very behind. I barely could see him.

It was turning into night, and Dan shouted:

"Mack, do you have plans of building a shelter for tonight?"

"No, we can stay up all night." I shouted back.

"What about the mobs? And in the desert it gets very cold during night."

"We can handle them."

Dang it, he was right, I was colder than ice cream. But I had to fight the cold. I couldn't give up. We couldn't waste time on sleeping. Every once in a while a spider or a skeleton appeared. I still had the diamond sword from the previous adventure, so with only one hit I could kill any mob.

I was so cold that I barely could breathe. I was tired and feeling sleepy. No Mack, I said to myself, don't give up now, we are close. We weren't close at all. I felt like we were farther than before. But I couldn't give up, or I would prove Dan that this was a bad idea. And it was.

I got hungry. I didn't have enough energy to sprint anymore. I couldn't find any chicken or rabbits so I could eat, only a few zombies. Well I guess it's better than starve to death. I slayed one and ate it's rotten flesh. Yuck, it tasted horrible. I got food poisoning for a minute, but it felt like an eternity.

The sun was rising in about 5 minutes and I was weak. A creeper got into my way. I tried to fight it, but it exploded. I flew very far. When I hit the ground I didn't die (Thank God) but I felt very dizzy and even weaker. I just wanted to stay there, laid on the sand.

After a minute or two, I gathered all my strengths and got up. I think Dan didn't see the explosion because if he did, he would had run to me to see if I was okay. Anyways, when I got up, I felt that the sand started moving. The block of sand fell into a hole. I almost fell with it, but I managed to hold into a pile of sand, but I wouldn't last long.

"DAN!" I shouted for help. "DAN HELP ME I'M FALLING!"

No answer. I started to worry a lot and I tried screaming once more. Nothing. I was holding the sand block with only one hand, and I was about to fall. Then I couldn't hold anymore. I let go.

"DAAAAAAAAN!!!"

I felt something touching my hand. It was warm. I looked up and I saw his face. Dan helped me get up. I never felt such a relief of seeing him in my entire life. I started crying and I hugged Dan.

"Dan thank you for saving my life! Sorry that I was such a punk with you earlier."

"I was a punk with you earlier too. And I had to save you, it was nothing. After all, you saved me once before, and it was from a dragon."

"So we are even?"

"No I still need to save you like a thousand times."

I giggled. I looked at the horizon and I saw the sun. It was rising. I looked into Dan's blue eyes and I kissed his lips.

Something was tickling me, I didn't know what. Dan then said:

"Mack, this is not funny, stop tickling me!"

"It's not me I swear! Something is tickling me too."

I fainted. When I woke up, I was back in my room, and Sara and Paul were there too.
