The bomb

"No way! You're a liar! You didn't set the bomb!" I said. I started to get desperate.

"Yes I did! Muahahahahaha" Herobrine said.

"You are trying to convice us to bring you back to the real world! You won't get what you want!" Dan said, with sure.

"Okay then, if you wish not to bring me back, then I'll just leave you alone.  After all, my job here is done."

"DON'T GO YOU BASTARD!" I shouted. "YOU'RE PAYING FOR YOUR CRIMES."

"You can't win a battle against me, you never won."

"Because we never actually battled, duh." Dan reminded.

"Fine! I'll battle." Herobrine agreed.

Meanwhile, according to Sara, Paul desperately looked for the bomb. Maybe it was in the house, maybe it was at school... There was no way to be sure.

"Paul, stay here, I'll go to school to look for the bomb."

"But Sara," Paul said, hesitantly. "What if you die? What if a zombie kills you? Or a creeper? Or even worst, an enderman?!"

"Paul, I'm going to be fine, I know how to take care of myself. You're not my dad."

"Okay, sorry."

"But one thing I never told you is that I like you too."

"Like, that way?"

"Yeah, you might not be my dad, but you are my daddy..." Sara claims she didn't say that but Paul swore for his life it happened. They kissed and Sara left.

Sara arrived to the school. It was closed and quiet. Luckily, she knew that place since she was a 1 month old baby and knew how to go in. Those hallways were very scary during night, specially knowing that you might be slain by a zombie at any moment.

She looked for every locker possible, every room possible and she found the bomb, at the chemistry classroom. Of course! She immediately called Paul.

"Paul, quick! Send a message to the server saying I found the bomb!"

"You found the bomb? Are you alright? Is it about to explode?"

"Just send the damn message!!"

We were having an intense sword fight. Herobrine is very strong and kept throwing lightning on us but our armor was strong enough to cause only half heart damage. I never felt stronger than that moment.

"You two are stronger than I thought... And I hate when things don't happen like I plan." Herobrine complained.

"Wait, did you say 'like you plan'? Are you some sort of fortune-teller or..." I tried to ask.

"You only noticed now? I'm the king of Minecraft! I know every move that is about to happen, I plan EVERYTHING! And whenever things don't go according to my plans, I just have to go and fix the problem myself, like you two stupid, idiot 'heroes' of the story!"

Suddenly a message on the chat popped. It was from the server, and I knew it was Paul.

<server>: GUYS WE FOUND THE BOMB

<server>: WE R TRYING TO FIGURE HOW TO DISABLE IT

<server>: WHILE THAT JUST FIGHT HEROBRINE BC WATCHING THE FIGHT FROM OUTSIDE IT'S SO DOPE!

<server>: BTW ME AND SARA KISSED HEHE

Finally some hope! And Paul was really crazy. I was happy for the two. Anyways, back to the fight. After the message disappeared, two flying and two invisible potions spawned. Me and Dan took one and we could distract Herobrine.

"Paul, I opened the bomb!" Sara said from the outside, on the phone. "The inside looks a lot like the bomb from that game I forgot the name..."

"Keep talking and nobody explodes?"

"Yes that one!"

"Thankfully I have the manual on my cellphone!"

"What the hell Paul, why do you have a fake bomb manual on your freaking phone?"

"Sara, do you want to save the world or not?"

"Yes!"

"So shut up and listen!" Sara described the bomb and Paul gave the instructions. She was right, the bomb was the same as the one in the game. They managed to disable the bomb when there was literally one second left.

Somehow we managed to control our own minds and not let that bastard go inside to read our thoughts. He seemed bothered with it. We were visible but he lost the capacity to predict our moves. Point for team TDM!

We were still battling with our swords. But Herobrine made a surprising move. He simply dropped his two swords, kneeled  down and said "I surrender."

"Wait what? No, there's something wrong." Dan said.

"Why are you surrendering?" I asked, threatening him with my sword.

"Because... because... You left me too weak. I can't fight." He said. "You can either kill me right now while you have the chance or you can spare me."

"Why would I spare you anyways? After all you've done to us?" I said.

"Because if you spare me, I'll tell you why you got here, inside the game, in the first place. I know you don't have the guts to live the rest of your life that you killed a man, and you want to know the answer to that question so badly, I know it." The deal was tempting.

"Mack, he could be lying! Finish him!" Dan said.

"Wait Dan, we are not in a rush." I crouched, so I could look at Herobrine eye to eye. "So, why are you proposing this? Do you think the reason I'm here is as valuable as your life? Are you that desperate?"

"Aren't you? Aren't you anguished to know it? As much as I am to live my life? Don't you think it's fair?"

"I've never thought you would ever want to be fair with anything. I feel honored!"

"Mack, where are you going with this?" Dan seemed worried.

"Fear not Dan, I got this." I proceeded. "I don't think the answer to this question is as valuable as your life. If you insist that it is, I must be a very important person then."

"Yeah, yeah, I agree with you..." Herobrine was almost sweating. He was lying. That wasn't the reason. I decided to follow my first hypothesis.

"If I'm that important, I must be the one that freed Minecraft from the terrible Herobrine."

"WHAT?" Herobrine and Dan said, together. I stabbed Herobrine on his stomach. I really wanted to enjoy the moment so I hold the sword tightly and I turned it around. "Why are you doing this to me Mack?"

"You made a mistake giving up the fight. After everything you put me through, do you think I would have mercy to spare a code? You're wrong then. You're nothing more than a fictional character to me." Coldly, I took back the sword. Herobrine fell with his back on the ground and when it was about to collapse, the body turned into dust and his soul left the world. Everything to me was in slow motion

MackTDM stabbed Herobrine to death

I need to be real: I was shaking inside. I've never been this cold and fearless before. I've never felt this important before. I was the one that put an end to this agony. I ended Herobrine's era.

<server>: WOOP WOOP

<server>:  Btw, bomb was defused

It was almost night. I stood up. I hugged Dan tightly.

"Thank you for saving my world."

"Thank you for helping saving mine."

"Sorry for not believing in you back then."

"It's okay, and sorry if I scared you." I laughed. "I was waaay into the moment." Tears started falling down my face.

"Mack, don't cry, it's over." Dan calmed me down. "It's over."
