Chapter FiveLORELAI'S POV
"Thanks honey but I don't want to bother you. I think I won't be able to sleep here. I always have trouble at new places." I said in my best apologizing tone, "Sorry, I hope you won't mind?"
"Oh not at all! I totally understand you. You can come here whenever you feel okay." Chole smiled.
"Thanks for everything, Chole. I'll leave now." I grabbed the bag containing dress and proceeded towards the door.
Giving Chole a final hug, I left and started to walk on the pavement shivering slightly due to the cold air brushing my bare arms. I winced at the lack of my clothes. I must get used to this. Less clothes or no clothes at all.
In no time I was standing at the bus stop, waiting for the bus.
All the memories came crashing down on me I am so confused about these beast brothers. I am out my mind. I can't even think straight. Why did Mason had to come back? Finally when I was over him. Over the dark bruises he left me with.
Even Devian was not a good soul. I had no idea why he was taking me out. He asked me to hide while Mason ran away leaving everything behind. He looked concerned for me unlike Mason who was probably concerned for his own little pathetic life. Maybe he was pretending? Or he wanted to get into my pants just like those girls were saying. Anyhow, I hurt him by not trusting him and if this was the only way to repay then I was ready.
The bus arrived exactly at one in the morning. I took slow steps inside the bus only to realize that I was not alone. There was another girl sitting near the door. She smiled as I entered and I smiled back.
I took a seat behind her. Just then Mason came back into my mind. The way he talked about me and Devian sleeping with each other radiated anger. He had venom in his voice stating how pissed off he was. He left me. And now he was back being all jealous and possessive around me. He has no right. He lost it the day he left me alone and deserted in that room.
"Hey there sista!" The girl turned around and chirped. She had an accent. Maybe Italian?
"Hey." I smiled.
"I am Claudia. Where are you heading to?" She asked.
"Linton Street and its Lorelai." I replied.
"Oh! Beautiful name. I am going there too. I am new in this town. I just bought a rooming aparment on that road." She said without considering me a stranger.
I chuckled at her, "Great. Is it? Richaan's? Building? Because its the only building which offers rooming apartments. I live there too. Room 46."
"Oh yes! Its Richaan's. My room is 45th. We are neighbours! Its so amazing." She jumped up and sat beside me. She had a special aura around her which could make any person bubbly and cheerful. I was starting to feel it.
The bus jerked as it stopped. I signaled Claudia and she stood up.
"So we can be friends right?" Claudia asked as we kept walking towards the building.
"Sure why not?"
"Where do you work?" She said as we reached our place. I almost choked.
