Dong... The rusting iron bell in town square made a long, baritone ring. There was an important event. Dong... A second chime, there was a newcomer. I rushed down to the bell tower as fast as my chilled, dampened feet could possibly go. There had only ever been one newcomer and that was over 10 years ago. When I was only a small child of six years old. They must be important.
"Father?" I asked in a breathless whisper.
"What is going on? Who has arrived?"
He smiled at me and gave a low chuckle, "Take a look for yourself sweetheart!"
I quickly spun myself around to see a very muscular, handsome man. My mouth opened to comment but no words came out. The bucket of icy water I had been holding slipped out of my hands from an invisible force. A small yelp escaped from my lips as I continued to stare on.
All of a sudden the man turned and began walking towards me. " I believe you dropped that bucket miss?" He asked me with a smile.
My breath caught in my throat, I looked around to see my best friend Rosette winking at me. Now was the chance.
"Yes, why thank you...uh-"
" Taro." he finished for me.
"Taro, " I grinned "welcome to Dargor."
