I sat against the wall with my eyes fixated upon the mundane cream walls of my bedroom. But this was not simply a bedroom. Countless memories had been formed in this room. I had shed tears and laughed until I lost sense of reality. This room offered me a sense of security and warmth. When I had had a difficult day it held out its arms to embrace me. But now it was empty and desolate. "Emma we're leaving in five minutes!" My Dad called from the bottom of the stairs. I sighed and rose from floor. Why do we have to move to stupid America against my will? I'm finally happy and my life's as good as it's ever been and now my - "Emma we have to go NOW!"
