Hello Dear Readers,
this was written during turbulent days back in the beginning of 2013. It's a lovely little story inspired by rising technologies, especially virtual reality. Imagine a world where you are the player. Entirely. You see the virtual world through your eyes. Not via a computer or TV screen. You live in that world. Not your avatar. I guess this topic has been dealt with already...
But what about the darker side? The constant spying? Facebook gathering data which we villingly share. Google tracking every our search and page visit. The list goes on and on indefinitely. We are already way too much exposed ad our privacy is nothing more than a dusty and frail torso waiting to be toppled. Yet what about the age of such an advanced virtual reality? Will the surveillance stop at that? How delve is the constant snooping going to delve?
That's one side of the story.
The other? It's a little surreal...
