Jungkook
I felt lost and confused. I didn't know how to contain it. I tried. I really did. I know Seokjin tells me to refrain from falling weak to it but I couldn't. The urge was too strong. Something's going on and it seems I'll be the only one to stop it. I need this within me. I need the rage and fury to be able to stand a chance.
"Forgive me, Father. For what I do is sin. I shall repent to you."
I kicked down the steel door, coming face to face with a chained up Yoongi and a smirking Jimin,
"I knew you'd catch on."
His chuckle caused a low growl to emerge from within me, I held my sword up firmly and felt the gold flakes wisp around my orbs.
"You're a work of art, Jungkook. I see why Taehyung has grown to like you."
"What are you talking about?" I seethed. The mention of Tae fueling my rage.
"Ya know, when Hoseok confessed to me-" Jimin paused and glanced at a mad looking Yoongi before continuing, "He said to stop playing cat and mouse and just address our feelings to each other."
Tick.
"You tricked him. He doesn't love you." Yoongi mumbled.
Jimin turned around and focused his attention on Yoongi.
"Do you think he'll ever love you? Let alone notice you even like him?"
Tick.
Yoongi yanked on the chains holding him up. They continued to bicker, Jimin oblivious to Yoongi's nod to me and my strides towards him.
"Forgive me, Father. For I have sinned."
Boom.
I plunged the sword into Jimin's back. His scream was all that filled the silent room. Life left his eyes seconds after. It seemed to all be in slow motion. Yoongi looking up, bruises evident on his face. Eyes tired as he watched Jimin's body go limp onto the ground. My eyes locked with his and I gave a gentle smile, he returned it before speaking up.
"Greetings, brother. How's Heaven treating you?"
I smirked and sliced through the chains. Yoongi rubbed his wrists before standing up and walking over to pat my shoulder.
"It's been too long. I knew you'd get me."
"I'm surprised Hoseok and them didn't come sooner."
"Are you kidding? Those idiots are still trying to figure out who to send back here to Earth."
I chuckled and withdrew my sword, placing it into the gold tube and sliding it into my pocket. Yoongi and I grew up, side by side. He acted as my older brother and I played the younger brother. We protected each other through everything. Long story short, we seperated when I began fufilling duties for Seokjin and he did the same for Namjoon. They knew about us, we had to tell them. They were fine with it but we never told them our full story. Who knows if we ever will.
"You and Taehyung?"
"You and Hoseok?" I retorted back.
Yoongi groaned, "C'mon, we're going back to the underworld."
He created a portal and was about to step through but noticed my hesitation.
"Jungkook, he'll forgive you. Live by the sword die by the sword. Some shit like that..." Yoongi mumbled.
"It's not him I'm worried about. It's Tae."
"Taehyung will be up your ass in no time, grab Jimin's body." I nodded with a blush, grabbing Jimin and stepping through the portal.
-
"Yoongi!" Hoseok was the first to sprint up to him. I hid in the shadows, not ready to show me or what I've done yet.
"Jungkook." Seokjin stated. Everyone else fell silent, probably confused since they couldn't sense my presence.
I stepped out from behind the dark pillar. Blood stained the cuffs of my white shirt. My dark eyes met the curious gazes. Yoongi was wrapped up in Hoseok's arms, Namjoon was standing beside Taehyung, and Seokjin stepped forward.
"Forgive me, Father..." I shakily spoke as I pushed Jimin's body closer to the others. I collapsed onto my knees as tears ran down my face. Seokjin quickly ran over and caressed my face, whispering prayers and statements of forgiveness into my ear. Seokjin stepped away once Taehyung knelt in front of me.
"Thank you." He whispered before kissing the corner of my mouth.
"It was simple. One stab and he was done for. I think since we're brothers it made Jungkook's actions stronger." Yoongi said boredly.
Shocked expressions filled everyone's faces, well everyone besides Namjoon and Seokjin.
"A story for another time, as of now let's get you two cleaned up. I'll prepare supper."
Seokjin helped me up but I reached for Yoongi with a pout.
"I'll bathe in the next room. Taehyung will lead you to the bathroom. I'll see you soon, promise."
With a smile Yoongi left with Hoseok and I followed Taehyung into the bathroom, which was indeed one room over from Yoongi. I began stripping as soon as I stepped into the bathroom, Tae running the water and filling the tub up with bubbles. He went to leave but I grasped his wrist.
"Don't go."
With a firm nod Taehyung helped me into the tub.
He was safe. I was safe. Yoongi was safe. That's all that mattered at the moment.
