'HELP!' We all scream.
We bang on the windows.
We scream at the top of our lungs.
We yell curse words.
But no one answers.
Emma begins to sob.
'Don't worry, Emma. We'll find a way out. I promise.' I say soothingly.
'We need to stop eating so much food. We're going to run out.' Ryan mumbles under his breath.
I nod. 'We also need to find somewhere to pee.' I joke, trying to cheer everyone up.
Mike chuckles bitterly. 'We just need to find a way out.'
I turn on the radio, but it doesn't work. I try different channels, but they don't work either. I turn on my phone and call my mother. It doesn't even ring. Then I pull out my satellite phone and dial my mothers phone number, but that doesn't work either. I turn on the TV in our limo. No channels.
'We can't call, watch TV, text, or listen to music on our radio and we're stuck in a limo. Great.' I grunt sarcastically.
Emma begins to sob louder.
'Please!' I moan.
But Emma doesn't hear. She sobs louder and louder, tear streaming down her cheeks like lakes. I try and cover my ears but she's too loud, and it only muffles it slightly. I groan and grunt at her but she can't hear over the sound of her own crying.
Suddenly my mouth feels dry, and there is a weird feeling in my head. I squeeze my eyes shut and block my ears.
Then it stops. The sound. All sound, in fact.
I slowly open my eyes. I gasp and almost fall backwards into the wall.
Everyone is frozen. Every thing is frozen.
I poke Emma's cheek. She feels normal, and I can feel the wet tears in her cheek. But she doesn't budge. Not the slightest twitch. Not even breathing.
'This is impossible.' I mumble.
I push on the limo window. It shatters. My eyes go wide, and I smile. This is probably the happiest I've ever been in my whole life.
'What? The window's shattered!' I hear someone say behind me.
I turn around, stunned. 'Uh, yeah. I- I kind of just did that.' I stutter.
'What?' She gasps.
Ryan and Mike stare at me.
'No, it just appeared there. And you moved in like, a split second.' Ryan states.
'No, I stopped time. I swear. I couldn't stand Emma's sobbing and I closed my eyes, and then when I opened them- well, everything was frozen. I poked the window and it shattered, and then I got happy and time unfroze.' I say.
'Impossible. No.' Ryan argues.
'Well, it happened, okay? Isn't this wall supposed to be impossible? I mean, if you haven't noticed, some pretty weird things have been happening.' I snap.
He shrugs, and I glare at him.
'Well, what are you waiting for? Let's get out!' Mike suddenly yells.
I stick my head out of the window. Then my shoulders. And at a slow pace, I finally get through. But I'm cut all over with deep gashes. My worst is on my hip, and it's about half an inch deep and four inches long.
I wince at the pain and help everyone else out. When we're all out, I collapse onto the floor. I think there's still a couple prices of glass stuck in me. I lift up my shirt and inspect my stomach. There's a large piece of glass sticking out of the gash on my hip, and one about half the size of that in the middle of my stomach.
