AN: heyyy I know it's been a while and it makes me extremely sad to know I've been worrying this story for 3 years. It's literally never taken me this long to write any story I've written in my life. I promise that I will start back doing regular updates so be looking out for em and again I do apologize for keeping you all on the hook for about a year before I can update the next chapter and so here it is!!!!
At now 8 months pregnant I sat outside on Khileys swing, with my feet up under me. The kids ran around the front yard chasing their dog Goofy.
"Tete Yaz where uncle Mano?" Gracie asked as she helped Perish off the ground after Goofy knocked her down.
"He should be on his way over here Gracie. Aren't you all going to Adin's sleepover?" I asked raising an eyebrow at her.
"Ahhh yeah I forgot."
"Girl go in the house and make sure all y'all stuff is in the bag crazy."
She laughed while running up the steps then rubbing my stomach on her way in the door.
"Gracie call your tete and see do she need me to bring her anything pleaseeee."
"Ohhh can I go, I wanna see Princess."
"We just discussed this Gracie. You can see her when you come back."
Ann-Marie had another daughter she named Princess a month and a half ago. She decided to just take her classes online so she would still be caught up after her 6 weeks were up.
As she went into the house Mano was pulling up. He spoke to the kids then came and sat next to me on the swing. I didn't even look at him cause I was royally pissed off.
"So you just gone ignore me right now?"
I dug through my purse and handed him a brick. He looked it over trying to decide if there was something special about it.
"Why are you giving me a brick Yazmine?"
"Because it was the brick that was thrown through my bedroom window not even 2 minutes after you left this morning. Which is why I'm sitting on my sisters porch instead of home in my bed resting like I'm suppose to be doing. Here is the bill you need to pay for my window since you're suppose to be 'handling' it. By the way how's that going?" I asked looking at him seriously.
"I told you I'm handling it Yaz and I am." He said not elaborating.
"Yeah well I'm going to need you to handle it a little faster. You have a child due in a little over a month now Mano. He should be your first priority not worrying about your 'sister'. I've been worrying about this shit for months now Mano and you're not doing shit about it. First my car, then 'somebody' playing on my job phone, then my dog, my fucking puppy comes up dead on my doorstep now this. Next time imma say fuck what you talking bout and have my family handle it. So again I ask how is that going?"
"I said I'm handling it Yaz, everything ain't gone be done on your time." He exploded looking at me crazy.
I looked around to see the kids had stopped playing to see what the commotion was.
"I think you need to take the kids now before something comes out my mouth that you might not like." I said getting up.
I went into the house and saw Gracie trying to drag ALL of their bags. At least she was trying to be helpful but I still couldn't help but laugh.
She looked at me pouting, "it not funny, helpppp."
It only made me laugh harder but I still went and grabbed a couple bags from her. We went outside to find Mano had got all the kids in the car. He snatched the bags from me and threw them in the trunk. I laughed some more as I helped Gracie into the car. What grown man you know snatching something??? Mines haha.
