“Yaz i’m on my way to yo casa, I need that blue plaid button down shirt.”
“Alright bae i’m on my home now. I’ll see if I can find it.”
I got to my house and immediately pulled off all my clothes. I was walking around looking for Mano’s shirt when someone rang my doorbell. I grabbed my robe off the back of the couch while going to the door.
“Can I help you?” I asked opening my door to a back
Once he turned around I rolled my eyes. “Quavion what the hell you doing here and how the hell you get my address?”
“I still got contacts in the streets, you should know that.” He said shoving his way pass me and into my house. “Why you marrying him Yaz? I know you still miss me.”
“Well then you know very wrong. I love Mano, you, you mean nothing to me just a blast from the past Quavion. Nothing more nothing less and I did not invite you in so i’m gone need you to go.”
But instead of leaving he shut the door and pushed the door closed while standing in front of me. He reached a hand towards my face but I dodged out the way.
“I really need you to leave, like right now. This is never going to happen the way you want it to.”
“Come on Yaz, we were good together.”
“Key word is ‘were’ Quavion, you can’t keep living in the past, cause I damn sure ain’t. MOVE ON!!”
We both heard the door opening, as I went for it Quavion pushed me into the wall and kissed me. Before I had time to push him off of me, he was being shoved off me.
“Mano I swear to god it’s not what it looks like.”
“Yo se. Because you wouldn’t be that maldito estupido to kiss somebody when I’m on the way. But what yo want to know is why the infierno he felt he had the right to kiss tu. Why the infierno is he in yo damn apartment? And why the infierno you don’t have on no got maldito clothes?”
I knew he was pass mad because not only did he take a step towards Quavion with each sentence but he was cursing.
“Obviously because we’re really close. Yazmine is still in love with me. We been fucking for weeks now, since we saw each other again at the station.” He said smirking.
My eyes widened at his bold ass audacity of lying like that. I just barely managed to grab Mano as he lunged for Quavion but he still was able to grab him around the throat.
“When I’m ready for you to speak I’ll let you know. Matter fact.” He dragged him by his throat with me still hanging on to his shirt out the door then slammed it.
He grabbed my wrist and swung me in front of him. “So you just not gone answer my questions?”
“You didn’t give me a chance to Mano.” I said trying to get him to loosen his grip.
“I’m giving you that chance now. And you better not be lying to me Yaz.”
“Ummm first I’m naked because I had just got home and had took off my scrubs so I could shower after looking for your shirt. Secondly he was in here because he shoved pass me to get in and he thought I was still in love with him but I swear to god I’m not Mano.”
“Hold on what you mean ‘still’, when I introduced y’all two weeks ago y’all said y’all were just passing acquaintances. So you lied about that too.”
I knew this shit was gone come back to bite me in the ass but damn this shit is something entirely different.
“Mano I haven’t lied about anything. I didn’t tell you we were once together because I didn’t think it was important.”
