"My Lord, that dragon just killed thousands of men in a single blow, the buildings alone did not even stand a chance, yet you wish to send me alone to slay the beast!?" Seth yelled. The high king then gave Seth the same look he had seem many years earlier when he had first shown him his great power. "No, i will not use it, Not at the risk it beholds". The high king slammed his fist down in anger, "We do not have a choice here! I cannot lose more men to a beast such as this, you are this lands only hope. If it need be I will banish you from this kingdom if you do not cooperate." Seth then came upon a look of extreme surprise on his face, "You would banish me because I will not risk a fate worse than death?" The high king gave a grim nod to the noble knight. "So be it then, I Sir Seth, hereby accept the quest to slay the mighty frost Dragon that would dare destroy these lands."

Seth then went home to his wife, Taliah. He entered with grief as he knew what he now had to tell his wife. Once she heard she was filled with tears almost immediately. "You can't go!" she screamed, "You'll die!" Seth exclaimed, "I do not have a choice, if I do not go to slay this beast you and I both will be banished from this land." She began to cry even harder. At this Seth was filled with even more guilt and so he held her cheeks very softly and gave her a swift kiss, "I will return, I promise, no matter what happens I will not leave you." He looked into her eyes and pressed his forehead against hers and softly said, "I promise".

Seth woke up that morning next to his wife, she had her arms wrapped around him tightly. He carefully took her arms off and got up grabbing his armor, putting it on slowly to make sure he doesn't wake her up. once he had put his armor on and grabbed his sword and dagger he kissed her on the forehead, saying one last time, "I promise ill come back". He saddled his horse up and made his way to the high king. He tied his horse up to a pole outside the great hall doors. Double opening the doors he called for the high king. He gave Seth an apologetic look and told him he was sorry, Seth simply asked where he was heading. "We last saw the Dragon heading east, our scouts have said there appears to be a cave there that appears to have the capabilities of a dragons cave. "I'll be heading there right away then" Seth said. As he was leaving the king stopped him but yet again. "While you are gone I will see to it that your wife is kept safely, she will stay in a royal building, if you succeed in the killing of this beast then the home is yours." Seth grunted and left.

Seth rode down a trail way, it led to another city along the way he thought he may go see, to find out if he can acquire some people to follow him. All he could think about on this journey was his wife back home, and this high king whom he thought was a dear friend who had essentially betrayed him. He thought nothing of it, he was extremely frustrated however. Him and the king had saved each other countless times on journeys. Not only that but he dared to use Seth's power as a meaning of weaponry. He knew it's cost, and no one should ever suffer such a fate, not even a power hungry dragon.  The trail was filled with trees of many kinds, as a meaning of a time killer he decided to try to pick out the different kinds. "That one is most certainty an oak" He mumbled, "That looks possibly like a red-wood, I have no idea why its leaves look so ridiculing." Right as he was about to spot a different kind again the ground shook and he heard a roar. Seth's face grew extremely serious as he grabbed the hilt of his sword. He heard the squeal of an animal, but before he could react a rock smacked his helmet straight off. He then Immediately grabbed his sword in his right hand and yelled out, "Who goes there!" No answer. Seth grew worried as the silence grew. He knew a lot of the creatures and races due to his time traveling, however that squeal was very unfamiliar. He heard a rustle and swung quickly. Only a rabbit. "Well you definitely didn't throw a rock, now did you little fella?" A shadow then creeped up behind him and he was knocked unconscious.
