It had happened before, however, this time he had decided that it would be the last time. Evan Walker had lost the love of his life and was bound to get her back.

He had to get her back.

For the first time ever he didn't know where to start, she wasn't supposed to leave... She was supposed to stay here with him. Where it was safe, where there was food and water. Simply at the thought of Y/N roaming around the apocalyptic wasteland, they called earth alone made him want to vomit.

To stay alive they needed one another.

The blonde-man gripped the back of the chair firmly, thinking of everything and or anything that could help him find Y/N. She couldn't have gone that far-right? His thoughts once pure bliss of love were now plagued. She wasn't kidnapped she probably ran out because of you... She doesn't love you- She thinks you're nothing but an other just playing games.

Evan took himself out of his thoughts by throwing the chair across the room through pure rage, knowing fully well that this might be it... This might be the time in which he won't be able to find Y/N and secure her safely back into his arms. However... The blonde-man didn't know when to give up.

He remembered nights ago when his arms were around her whilst she slept. He remembered keeping a tight grip around her as if to shield her from the world around them. She always seemed to love that. The way that her face would be found in the crook of his neck by morning, or the fact that you couldn't even slide a piece of paper between them. And now...

Although Evan knew that no amount of space could keep their bond at bay, no amount of anything could destroy his love for her. Their bond was still strong, and hopefully, that would be the thing that leads him to her.

The blonde-man would search the whole earth for her, after all, he had done it before after the explosion. However this time they didn't have a meeting place, this time he only had his instincts to go off of. Yet he knew deep down that nothing would stop him from finding her.

However, going to the ends of the earth to find her wouldn't exactly leave him in one piece.

"You look like shit," Ben commented taking a seat next to Evan as did Cassie.

"Well I honestly thought she'd be here alright," The blonde-man fired back placing his head in his hands through a sigh. "I don't know where else to look,"

"You said it yourself you'd look till the end of the earth for her... And we aren't exactly that," The blonde girl spoke up rubbing soothing motions across his back. "But if it makes you feel better you can stay the night,"

"Thanks... But how the hell do you guys have so much stuff?" Evan questioned glancing around their small house in shock.

"We stole it from the base," Ben shrugged standing up to get another beer. "I'm sure you'll find Y/N soon... Would you like a beer,"

"Yes please," The blonde man sighed leaning back into the sofa. "Yes please,"

He had done all of this... Evan had gone through so much. Simply to be with Y/N and now that looks like it was for nothing. He had done everything for her and she didn't even know it. He had turned against his own kind, against having rule over the whole earth all for one girl. One girl that meant the world to him.

One girl that seemed to be nothing less of perfect, soft hair, pretty pools of eyes, the perfect height for him. A girl that he could hug all over, and cuddle with all day and every night. A girl that he couldn't help yet to kiss and be possessive over. With her stubborn yet cute and shy attitude, she still managed to speak up for what she believed in.

He knew how strong she really was, and that seemed to be one of the leading reasons of why he won't give up on finding her. She's been through worse, and she's been on her own before.

He had to keep reminding himself of that as his journey went on. She was one tough cookie and could surely make it through anything that came her way... However, he knew that they were stronger together.

"I don't want to lose you too," The words slipped off his tongue before he had time to cover his mouth, much less take them back.

"What do you mean... Evan you're not going to lose me I'm right here," She laughed pulling him close by the collar of his shirt so that their faces were inches apart.

"Promise me that you won't leave," He murmured sheepishly breath fanning her face.

"I promise... And besides, you kept your promise so I won't break mine," She explained running fingers across his jaw. "Now you better go it's getting late,"

"Well maybe I won't go today..." He trailed off at the end having no clue in what else to say whilst she caught on to what he was doing.

"You've been postponing this for days and we need food... Look I'll just go with you it'll be so much easier-"

"No no... I will not put you in more danger than needed because I don't want to leave you, I'll go," He reassured pecking her cheek and pulling away from her to grab his gun.

"You missed my lips," She whined gazing at him through a pout.

"No, I saved the best for last," He explained connecting their lips.

The blonde man always got like this when he wouldn't be with Y/N because he knew what could happen in their time apart. Anything could happen and that honestly terrified him. If she could only be with him at all times then he would know that nothing bad would happen. However, he would never let Y/N go hunting. Hunting was dangerous enough, yet then you add the forests and the fact that it's the apocalypse and it's not pleasant.

However, every time Evan got all jittery about leaving Y/N it always turned out fine. Just like she reassures him. "Y/N?" He questioned walking into the house and setting down his gun.

It was silent, and with every minute that it stayed that way more and more goosebumps formed across Evan's skin. Alas, he prepared himself to fight anything that stood in the way of Y/N. However, once he made it further into the house, he quickly realized what a dumbass he was since she was simply in the shower and could hear her.

"Evan is that you?" She called hearing his footsteps.

"Yeah," He explained only to then join her in the shower... After all, they had to save water right?

Evan knew that he had good reasoning behind being nervous every time of leaving Y/N, after all after the first time of them being separated it didn't end pretty. However, maybe this time it wouldn't.

"I'll go to the ends of the earth for you Y/N Y/L/N," He promised gripping her waist firmly.

She gazed up at him through er lashes something in which he loved. "Promise?" She questioned through a small grin.

"I promise,"
