We dispersed and searched the entire camp high and low. Isabelle began making 'have you seen this Demi-god' posters. By the time we all met up again at the center of the camp, we had all been searching for three hours, and come up empty handed.
"What now," Aleigh asked.
"We keep looking, I guess," Isabelle answered.
"Where though? We've searched everywhere and found nothing," Danny said before crossing her arms.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. I mean, everyone's searched everywhere, even the lake..."
"Who searched the lake," I asked.
"We all thought you did, Beth," Justin answered. Almost instantly we all bounded to the beach. By the time we got there, Fiona Daring of the Aphrodite cabin was screeching about a dead body. Quickly we realized two things, 1. The body was Gracie Strong, and 2. She wasn't dead, only sleeping. We crowded around the girl with the red curls.
"So what now," Danny asked.
"We take her back to the Demeter cabin, I guess," remarked Isabelle. Everyone looked around at each other. Aleigh bent down..
"The red powder, it's on her too..." I bit my lip. What was the connection? Red powder, Demeter, sleep...?
"Wait," Isabelle yelled,"she carrying something!" Aleigh grabbed the pouch that Gracie had been carrying. It contained the red powder.
"It's labeled 'poppy powder'...." We all were confused, but Justin's face went white.
"Justin?"
"Poppy, sleep......The poppy is the symbol of Hypnos. Demeter has the flowers..."
"What? You're not making any sense," Danny said.
"We've got to get Chiron."
