C. 7 Should've Been Me

I could feel her gaze burning into mine.She didn't move and from what I could tell she didn't want me to either."Morning",she whispered looking at my lips then back to my eyes. "Shh",I whispered back leaning in and kissing her.It took a matter of seconds for her to kiss back but when she did it was hesitant,it was like she wanted this but wouldn't give it to herself."It should've been us.. I should've been a fire should've been a perfect storm",I sang with a sad smile when I pulled back,"should've been us oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh should've been.""Shut up",she mumbled grabbing the back of my neck and kissing me. I moved onto the couch without breaking the kiss causing her to sit up for a better angle. I licked her bottom lip and she opened her mouth letting my tongue slide in and explore her mouth like it was the first time.aAir became a problem and we pulled back panting. "your a great singer",she whispered standing up and walking towards the kitchen."T-thanks",I called after her then cursed my stutter.Shaking my head I ran up the stairs and changed clothes.I have an interview today with Lucy the head CEO of Revolution Records.I straighten my hair and adjusted my beanie.I decided to go casual so they don't get the wrong impression on what my style is.

Well Lauren you have all the right qualifications for the sound board job but there's one problem",Lucy comment setting down my application and recommendation letters."What I can fix it,"I urged,"I really need this job.""Calm down your going a million miles a minute,"she commented with a laugh,"the problem is you can sing.... Really well."I was  ginueinly confused by her statement what does it matter that I can sing?"Um..im sorry does that effect my qualifications for the job.. because I don't need to-",I began. "Hey hey chill you've got the job but not that one",she said with a smile,"I want you to sign with Revolution Records."My mouth dropped open as I stared at her unable to form words."Lauren Jauregui would you like to sign a contract with R&R",she asked with a heartaching smile."Yes yes thank you wow",I stammered my heart beating faster.She smiled picked up my folder and left me to "look around my new recording studio while she got the papers around.I ran my hand slowly around every button and dial on the sound board admiring the complexity of it.She came back I signed the contracts and she welcomed me and said she'd make me a star. It was all a blur honestly but little did I know this would change my life completely.
