It had all started with the news warning. We all had ignored it thinking it was something like a useless thunderstorm warning or a flash flood warning. I guess we all had it coming. We were warned but we had never prepared ourselves for something that was unimaginable.
The coast guards had come to try and ward it all off at first. Those guys were doomed from the start, too. Putting themselves head first into danger to protect all of us who didn't listen. I feel bad, actually. Earth doesn't deserve this, unless it was Mother Nature's plan at revenge. I guess that could explain it all. But in just a few days, Earth herself had turned from the giving home we had lived on for billions, maybe trillions of years, to an untamable beast. Something so untamable that not even the best trainers of them all could tame it. A disease, concocted of the very worst things, ravaged Earth like a wild animal in search of fresh meat. Everything we had assumed possible was nothing close to our assumptions of how we would all end. How life would end all together.
