"Alice you should be in your outing clothes right now if you want us to go to the playground."

Alice heard her brother's voice and the word 'playground' and completely remembered. She quickly got up from her bed and scrambled to her closet, grabbing the pretty pink dress her brother gave her on Christmas and put it on. She then grabbed her coat and black boots for the weather was very cold with the winter season coming and ran down to the stairs. She saw her brother all ready with his heavy coat on and she was greeted by the sound of his laughter. Her brother shook her head, a daily habit he does to her, saying, "You look like you have birds in your hair."

Alice shook his hands away from her head just realizing she had bed hair. She glared at her brother before stomping back up the stairs.

"I'll wait 30 minutes to fix your nest!" Alice heard her brother shout before she closed her bedroom door and started to fix the mess that was her hair.

Approximately 35 minutes later Alice and her brother began their walk to the park where they were gonna see the falling sakura trees while eating Alice's favorite ice cream. But before they could do that though, fate had other plans.

It has always irked Deemo that he was stuck in a place he had yet to escape. But then again, how could he? The only way out was a big hole above offering the only source of light and the only chance of escape. Too bad the hole was too far and the only things Deemo had around him was a tree and piano he had yet to play.

Maybe playing it would make the situation a little bit better. Playing the piano was always Deemo's source of happiness or at least that's what he thinks anyways. He doesn't really remember much from his past life or if he even had one.

But alas life would always throw suprises. And for Deemo it was in the form of a little girl falling from the hole and right into his arms.

Thankfully the girl didn't scream at his appearance or was even remotely bothered by it. She merely looked sad, looking around the surroundings slowly before looking at Deemo in the eyes and saying. "Thank you for saving me. Where am I?"

"I'm not very sure myself, little girl." Deemo replied.

"I'm Alice. I wish to go back home. Will you please help me?"

"I promise and my name is Deemo. Want me to play a song?"

The girl smiled and nodded quickly. Deemo placed her on the piano stool and sat next to her playing a piece called 'Undo'.

After the song was finished, Alice saw a small tree sprout from a crack and told Deemo to play a song again. He did as he was told and to his surprise the plant started to grow along with the song. He then saw the tree as an opportunity to finally leave the castle and then began playing many songs in the hopes that the tree will grow tall enough to reach the hole so that Alice will be able to climb up to get out of the castle.

When the tree grew to maximum height, it still didn't reach the hole making Alice sad. Deemo comforted her saying. "I'll play more songs, don't worry it will reach the hole."

Alice then cheered up, dancing as Deemo played another song.

******OTHER SCENE

The tree's leaves were starting to wilt and ultimately fall. It was a natural thing of course. With Deemo taking a break from making it grow more in order to rest, the tree would have an immediate effect as from the start it relied heavily on Deemo's mastery of the piano to be able to grow and survive.

But it shouldn't survive or grow at all, thought the Masked Lady, catching one of the fallen leaves and crushing it in her hand before letting it be blown away in bits and pieces.

********ANOTHER SCENE

Alice took pity on Deemo and said that there must be some other way out other than the hole. Deemo frowned at her when he heard the statement but nonetheless accompanied her on searching through the empty castle for other ways out. They have been to many rooms and the current one they are searching in is the attic.

The attic was filled with books and a dirty stuffed cat to which Alice immediately took a liking to and played with. But whilst playing however she found a framed picture of a staircase. For some unexplainable reason she felt that there was something behind it so she pushed at the picture. Ironically the picture actually had a staircase behind it, making Alice's assumption correct.

She and Deemo went down the staircase in order to find themselves in another room with a piano covered in long, green vines  with a door far above it. The piano was surrounded by books and bookcases.

And thanks to Alice's observing eyes, she saw a key above one of the bookcases and started to stack books to make a staircase for herself in order to get the key.
The plan failed but because of Deemo, he merely had to carry her up in order for her to easily get the key. When she finally grabbed the key she smiled brightly up at him in thanks and Deemo just shook her head.

It was then that that both of them tooks seats on the piano stool also covered in vines but that didn't bother Deemo as he pressed a key. To his and Alice's surprise the vines immediately grew making him play a song in the hopes that the vines would grow up to the door above.

Thankfully the vines did and he had Alice climb into his back as he climb up the vines and to the door.

When they finally got to the door, Alice tried to put the key in but the Masked Lady suddenly appeared and acted as a barrier to stop Alice from putting in the key.

Alice tried to ask her to go away even tried to push her but the Masked Lady wouldn't budge. It was only when Deemo told the Masked Lady to move and that everything would be okay did the Masked Lady move out of the way.

When Alice put in the key she opened the door only to be greeted by a room that resembles a hospital room with all white walls and floors even the bed.

She gave a hesitating look at Deemo.

"Go in." Deemo encouraged.

She did. She went inside the room. She looked around for a mere second before turning back to Deemo whom was slowly fading to something else. Or someone else.

Hans, she thought.

It was then that everything came crashing down upon her.

The fast truck.

Her in the way with her brother, Hans.

Hans immediately coming between her and the truck, whispering a quick, I love you.

Darkness.

"NO!" Alice screamed, tears streaming down her face as she looked at Hans. She then looked at the Masked Lady whom took off the mask to reveal herself. Shr was holding on tightly to Hans whom was fading along with everything else.

"No, don't leave me." Begged Alice trying to get out.

But Hans closed the door, leaving a small space to whisper.

"I will always be here. Guarding you. Protecting you. I promise. But for now, goodbye my beloved sister Alice."

He closed the door.

Alice tried to turn the knob several times before giving up and looking the white room and wondering why everything was still black.

********ANOTHER SCENE
Deemo holds a picture frame, with the only a little girl's face being clear to be seen as the other person next to her in picture is hidden by dust that Deemo doesn't bother to wipe away.
"Goodbye my little sister, Alice." Deemo whispers sadly.
