Chapter one: She Likes Me?

Jack's POV:

Why did I take this job? Oh yeah.... That's right.... I'm insane......

It's been about three months since I last killed someone. I'm trying to stop but it's so hard. I guess if I can be a castle knight I would be able to kill someone for the right reason and not get thrown in jail. It's just so hard. My life has been a wreck ever since I was ten years old. I don't really know right from wrong. I have my regrets I really do. But at the same time.... I just don't care

"Jack!" The king said "I have a very important assignment for you"

"What is it?" I ask

His daughter.... I have to watch his daughter.... Great.... This isn't going to help me with my issues. What if I hurt this kid!? Ugh... Maybe this will help me not be so.... Crazy

"Hm? W-who are y-you? (He's scary)"

"I'm Jack. Ill be your personal body guard. I guess... And your name?"

"J-Jill"

She's so nervous. What for?

"Um. Is there something on my face? You keep staring at it"

"Waaaah! N-n-no! Nothing! Um... It's just.... I think you're.... Funny... Looking...."

Well.... Isn't she a nice person....

"N-n-not that it's a bad thing! I-I also think you're cute as well!"

Just then I could feel my face turn a bit red. No one has ever called me cute before. I hate to admit it. But she was kinda cute herself. For a kid that is.

"Ummm.. Thank you..."

"D-do you want to play with my toys with me?" She asks

"Sure (I have nothing else to do)"

And that's how I met her. Jill. Twelve years old and daughter to the king and queen. She's going to have many responsibilities when she becomes princess. But I'll make sure to help her along the way with her training. That is if our enemy doesn't kill her first... Or me....
