Unexpected

Chapter 6

"Oooh what happened to her?" "She's wounded." "My Momo. My poor Momo what happened?" All the students said as they saw Momo walking at the hallway her face is wounded.

As Momo enters the room she looked at Mina's vacant seat. Spotting Sana she walked towards the girl. "Is she coming?" Momo asked referring to Mina. "No." Sana said earning a nod from Momo. Sitting behind Mina's seat she closed her eyes.

"Did she text or even call you?" She tapped Sana shoulder catching her attention. Looking at her she nodded. "What did she say?" "She said that she will not attend the class today." Momo nodded. "Thanks." "Are you okay?" Sana asked pointing at Momo's face. "I'm fine." Momo said looking outside the window.

Momo keeps on looking at Mina's seat. She shook her head and stood up. "I'm going out." She said exiting the room. She walked down the hallway doesn't know where to go. Going up to the roof of the school she tried to calm herself. "What the hell is happening to you?" Momo said to herself. Her hands on her knees panting. "What is this?" She said closing her eyes. "She's fine yet.... Urrrgggh I don't know." She shouted her hands on her chest.

Image of Mina crying and hugging her jacket close to her body is running on her mind. Trying to calm herself she sat down her eyes closed. But still Mina is invading her mind. "Fuck this." She said getting up.

Stopping her car in front of Mina's house she tapped her fingers on the wheel. "Should I?" She asked herself her head resting on the wheel. Momo looked at the plastic bags beside her and sigh. Grabbing the bag she got off of her car.

Reaching the Myoui's house Momo fixed herself before knocking. She looked at the things she is holding. Momo smiled politely as the door opens. "Uhm good afternoon." She said bowing at Mina's mother. "Oh Momo-ssi." Mrs. Myoui said surprised as she saw Momo. "Is Mina is here?" She said earning a nod from Mrs. Myoui

"I came here to check if she's fine." Momo said as Mrs. Myoui placed some foods in front of her. "Yes she's fine. She's up stairs on her room." Mrs. Myoui said. The older woman sat beside Momo holding her hands. Looking at their hands she smiled. "Thank you for saving my daughter." Mrs. Myoui said tears forming on her eyes.

"It's nothing. No need to thank me Mrs. Myoui. Mina is my classmate and my cousin's friend so it's nothing." Shaking her head she smiled. "If not because of you my Minari will be in danger and because of your braveness she's safe." Mrs. Myoui said. "Did you alrealy clean up your wounds?" Not waiting for Momo's answer Mrs. Myoui vanished into the bathroom.

"Since you've done something to my Minari let me clean up your wounds." She said. Momo didn't protest and let the older woman to clean her wounds. "You have a beautiful face." Mrs. Myoui said as she finished on cleaning her wounds. "Why don't you go upstairs and check for Minari." "Uhmmm." Momo looked at the older girl. "Go now." Nodding Momo stood up and went to Mina's room.

Knocking on the door Momo looked at the bag on her hands. As she was on her way to Mina's house she saw a restaurant and bought her a food. "Come in." She heard Mina said. Opening the door she peeked. "It's me Momo." Looking at the door Mina put down the book that she's holding. "Momo-ssi." "No need to stand up just stay there." Momo said walking towards the girl.

"I came here to check if you are alright." She said standing beside Mina's bed. "I'm fine. Please sit." Patting the space beside her Momo sat beside her but giving her a safe distance. "I brought you this." Momo said giving her the food that she bought. "Pizza and Chicken?" Mina said. "By the way I didn't thanked you enough." Mina said. Momo faced the younger girl. "Thank you for saving me." She said. Momo nodded and saw the younger girl's face. "It's swollen and bruised." She said. In an instance she held the younger girl's face.

Shocked. Mina's breath hitch as Momo held her face. "Does it hurts?" She asked looking at her eyes. Concern is visible on her eyes. "No." Momo put down her hands her back resting on Mina's head board. "If I didn't make it in time I don't know what know what will happen next." She said looking at her hands. "Thank you for coming just right on time." "But still he hurt you and even ripped your clothes. I'm still late." She said. The two looked at each other.

"You face." Mina said pointing at her face. "It's alright now. Your mother cleaned it." "She's thankful to you." Momo nodded. "I know." Momo said nodding.

"Should we eat this?" Mina asked opening the box of food that Momo brought. Mina let Momo get a slice of pizza and the to eat quietly. "Did you skipped class?" Mina asked. "Yeah." Momo said chewing. "Why?" "Because I am worried about you. When Sana told me that you will not attend today." Mina stopped and looked at the older girl. "You're worried?"

"Yes I am. Especially when I saw you are crying, your shirt is ripped, men are holding on both of your hands and when I saw how frighten you are. It keeps on replaying on my mind." With head hung low Momo looked at her hands. "Thank you." Mina said. Not believing what Momo told her. "She's worried about me. She keeps on thinking about me." She said suddenly her heart beat rapidly.

"I think I should go so you can rest." Momo said but Mina held her hand. Looking at their hand she stopped. "Stay here first. I mean stay here and eat dinner with us." Looking at Mina's eyes the two trapped on their own world. Sitting beside Mina. The two kept their eyes locked with each other.

"Okay I will stay." Momo said leaning on the head board closing her eyes. "Damn what's happening?" She thought.
