Unexpected

Chapter 9

"Why don't you go inside first?" Mina said unbuckling the seatbelt. Momo volunteered to send Mina home which the others gladly accepted. "No I'm fine." She said shaking her head. "Are you sure?" Earning a nod Mina got out of the car bowing to Momo before walking towards her house.

Watching the younger girl's retreating back she rested her back on the driver seat. Watching Mina unlock the door she sigh getting off the car. "Wait." She said.

"Do you want coffee or anything?" Mina asked placing the keys on the wall. "Juice. Just juice." "Okay. I will get us a drink. Why don't you go at the living room and make yourself at home."

Sitting beside Momo, Mina faced the girl. "Since you are here. Why don't we watch movies? I will just get it on my room." Momo watched as Mina dash towards her room leaving her in the living room.

After a minute Mina came back holding a box. "What do you want to watch?" Mina asked opening the box. "Ughh anything is fine." She said making Mina pout. "Let's just watch this. Have you seen this?" Momo looked at the tittle shaking her head. "A walk to remember? Nope." She said. "OMG! Really?" Nodding, Mina smiled. "It's beautiful."

As Mina sat beside Momo. She focused her attention to the movie while Momo is stealing glances to her. She didn't pay enough attention at the movie since she is busy looking at her.

When the younger girl smiled she also smiled, when she laugh she will laugh also. She shook her head closing her eyes. "What the hell Momo." She thought. "What's wrong with you?" She stood up catching Mina's attention.

"Are you alright?" The younger girl asked following Momo on the kitchen. "I guess." Momo said her hands leaning on the counter her eyes closed back facing Mina. Hearing Mina's foot step she faced the younger girl. "I don't know what's happening to me." She said looking at her eyes. "What do you mean? You're cheeks. Are you alright?" Seeing Momo's cheeks which is red she is about to reach on the latter's cheeks but stopped.

"I don't know what I mean. I don't know if I am alright. I don't know what is happening to me. This kind of feelings." Momo said still holding on Mina's wrist. "This feelings. This is all new to me. I only feels this when I am with you." Not knowing what the older girl is saying she tried to pull her hand out of her grasp.

Letting Mina's hand off her clear her throat. "I..... I should be going now. Thank you for letting me stay here and thanks for the drink." She immediately exit the Myoui's house running towards her car.

On the other hand Mina was left alone at the kitchen didn't know what the older girl told her. "What does she mean?" She asked herself looking outside the window to see Momo drove off.

The next day Mina enters the room to see Momo's chair empty. Taking the seat in front of the older girl she faced Sana. "Skipping class again?" She asked. "Maybe." Sana said. She pouted placing her bag down.

At the cafeteria Mina hoped to see Momo. "Is there something wrong?" Nayeon asked opening her bread. "No, nothing is wrong. It's just that I am looking for Momo." Hearing Momo's name Nayeon and Sana looked at each other. "Why?" Sana asked.

"Last night as she took me home. She stayed for a while and I decided to watch movie. Then suddenly she went to the kitchen. Upon checking on her I saw her leaning on the counter." Putting down her drink she played with her food. "I asked her if she's alright." "Then?" Nayeon and Sana asked.

"She said that she doesn't know what's happening to her. Seeing her cheeks red I was about to check her temperature but she held my wrist." Sana moved closer not wanting to miss a word that Mina will say. "I asked her on what does she mean. If she's alright, she said. I don't know what I mean. I don't know if I am alright. I don't know what is happening to me. This kind of feelings." Pausing she saw the two older girls looking at her listening to every word that she's saying.

"Then she said. This feelings. This is all new to me. I only feels this when I am with you." With wide eyes the two older girl held Mina's hands. "Oh my god." Nayeon said. Mina looked at her Unnie's surprised at their reaction. "I am right. All this time I am right." Nayeon said earning a nod from Sana. "Unnie? What do you mean?"

Nayeon smiled. "Nothing. Don't mind me." She said earning a nod from Mina. "So what I am thinking and what I saw is correct. Momo have something with Mina." Nayeon thought smiling to herself.

*Are you alright? You didn't attend school. Are you sick? –Mina* Momo looked at her phone. She skipped school after the indirect confession to the younger girl. "Should I reply? Should I answer her?" She asked herself looking at the ceiling her phone on her right hand.

Mina was on the kitchen helping her mother preparing dinner when she saw a black car outside their house. "Who might it be?" She thought wiping the plate.

Momo was outside the Park's house watching Mina on the kitchen helping her mother. With wide eyes she lower herself making sure that the latter won't see her. "Did she saw me?" She asked peeking at the window.

Hours had pass but Momo remains outside the Myoui's house enjoying as she saw Mina on the window. "What does you have that made me..... Go and act like this?" She whispered as she saw Mina smiling at her mother. "You make my day right just by..." She paused. "Just by smiling. I has this weird effect on me." She grip on her wheel shaking her head. "No. no no no no... This can't be." Starting the engine she drove off her wheels screeching. "No.... This won't happen. I.... I don't have feelings for you." She continue to drive not stopping. As the red light appears she stopped her car creating a noise. "Am I? Am I in love to her?" She said her head leaning on the headrest of the car chair.
