Jacob sat beside Layla on the couch as they watched some tv show Mandy had recommended them. Since yesterday Layla had been questioning Jacob since he was stuck in her bathroom for about 30 minutes without an excuse. He soon lied and said he was feeling a little sick and thought he had to puke, but in reality he was taking semi nudes, trying to pick which one looked the best.
"Don't you have work soon?" Layla asked, eating out of the bowl of popcorn set between them.
"Yeah, why?"
"Well my phones dead and since my mom is using my car for a bit, I don't have a ride. Can I text her on your phone and ask her to pick me up?" She asked.
"Yeah sure." He replied nonchalantly. His eyes were glued to the tv and Layla nodded, and grabbed his phone. She got up and walked into another room, as she texted her mom quickly.
As she sent the message, another one appeared on his phone; It was Troye.
"Hey Troye texted! I'll open it and tell you what it says!" She called out, as she opened up Troyes text.
Jacobs eye widened in realization that Layla was about to see their text history. Their semi nudes. He ran into the room anxiously, only to see Layla's eyes wide, as she stared at the screen.
"Is this my bathroom..?" She asked quietly as she pulled up the image of Jacob topless and pant less, with a huge bulge through his light grey boxers.
"Y-Yeah.." He mumbled in an ashamed tone, lowering his head so she couldn't see how red his face was.
Layla grabbed a pillow off the bed and began to beat Jacob in the back with it. He fell to the ground as he yelled at her to stop.
"HOW DARE YOU TAKE NUDES IN MY BATHROOM YOU FILTHY ANIMAL?!"
"It was just once!!" Jacob yelled out, finally snatching the pillow from her. Layla stood there and glared at him, but then a few moments later, she began to chuckle.
Jacob looked at her with confusion, "What the hell is so funny?"
"You. You're such a dork. Taking nudes. If you're gonna take one, take off your boxers too, don't tease the poor guy. He's worth more than a boner hidden through some Calvin Klein boxers." She said, laughing in between words. He crossed his arms over his chest and looked away from Layla, his face red as a tomato.
"Awh cheer up, buttercup. I'm just joking around." She said, pinching his cheeks. He slapped her hand away and hugged in annoyance.
"Not my fault I've never done it before. I'm sure you'd do that to Mandy." He replied. Layla rolled her eyes, her cheeks turning slightly pink.
"Oh whatever." She said, waving him off, "I gotta go. I texted my mom and she's probably on her way now. See ya later." She said as she grabbed her bag, and ran out the door before Jacob could even process what was going on. He got up and brushed himself off, his face still red.
His phone began to ring and he picked it up, seeing Tylers contact. Jacob groaned in annoyance before answering the phone.
"Hello?"
"Jacob where the hell are you?! You're 20 minutes late and the coffee shop is packed!" Tyler yelled through the phone.
"I had to deal with a few things. I'm on my way now." Jacob explained, grabbing his jacket and quickly leaving the apartment.
------------
Jacob walked into the coffee shop to see every booth taken and lots of people waiting in the line. Some looked annoyed as they complained about how they had to wait too long. Jacobs eyes widened, he had never dealt with so many at the coffee shop before, and with only him and Tyler working there he knew it was going to be a long night.
