*Linea's P.O.V.*
It had been about a week since I first arrived at the house, and all the boys and I got along very well. Harry just informed me that they had an interview today, and that I could come and watch if I wanted. I declined, because that kind of thing didn't interest me. When I assumed all the boys had left, I heard a voice coming from upstairs.
"Guys, wait up!" the voice shouted. I saw Niall running down the stairs.
"They just left, sorry, guess you'll just have to deal with me." I teased.
"Guess so," he smiled. There was a long and awkward scilence for at least four minutes.
"Do you wanna do something? You know, to pass the time while they're at the interview." he asked.
"Like what?"
"I don't know, we could walk around the park or something. I know a really good resturant over there. Well, the food is crap, and it's just a street vendor, but it will do."
"I guess so." I smiled. Did he just ask me out, or was this just a nice, friendly thing?
*Niall's P.O.V.*
I was delighted when she excepted, but to tell you the truth, I don't think she realized I was asking her out. I didn't even realize I was at the time. As we walked out the door, we began to talk.
"So, do you like living with us?" I asked.
"Yes, it's fun, you guys are hilarious. But Harry brings home a different girl every second."
I laughed, and it was definately true. "He wasn't found a faithful girlfriend. They all have fancied other men as well, so he's worried."
"Join the club," she rolled her eyes.
I had never had a serious girlfriend in my life. Maybe a few flings here and there, but nothing serious. I had never found a girl that I liked enough to be honest, and being around screaming girls just made me seem less "available". Besides, I don't know how I would make time for a girlfriend. Asking Linea out was probably a bad idea.
"Do you care that your surronded by all these...." I couldn't finish my sentence. I must've looked like a complete fool, standing there not being able to speak.
"Famous boys? It's fine. I was kind of nervous, to be honest, and my friends back home think they have a shot with you guys now that I'm living with you."
"Do you wanna grab some food from that street vendor place I told you about?" I asked.
"I guess so." she said. She was hard to read, I couldn't tell if she was enjoying herself or not. "Well, then let's go."
"What is this vendor serving? It smells familiar." she looked puzzled.
"That is the smell of America! They serve fried everything here! It's no Nando's but it sure is fine." I smiled.
"Now that you mention it, it does smell a bit like home! Funny how you don't realize how things smell until go somewhere else." she was quite peculiar, but in an almost adorable way.
"What do you recommend?"
"Your the American! But I have to say, definitely the cheeseburger."
"I'll go for it."
*Linea's P.O.V.*
That boy can eat so much, it's almost unbelievable. He gulped down a cheeseburger, a hotdog, a large cup of fries, and a root beer float. I had to admit, I was having quite a bit of fun. We sat under a great big tree as we ate and discussed the band, things we wanted to do. It amazed me how he could just ignite the screaming fans and focus on me. He looked me in the eyes, yet still be polite to the fans.
"Do you plan to go to a University?" he asked.
"Well, I have to apply, first, and honestly I feel like I'm behind everyone else as far as applying goes."
He nodded. After that, we didn't really talk much. To be honest, I don't think Niall is very good with girls. He can't carry on a conversation, and he certainly can't start one. But somehow, I was warming up to him. About twenty more minutes past, and I noticed Niall checking his watch.
"We better get going, it's late, and the boys will think we got kidnapped or something." said Niall. I wouldn't put it past them, even if that was a joke.
As we walked home, I paused for a moment. "Always remember four, will you Niall?"
"Sure." he said, as he looked ever so confused. I didn't know why I mentioned it. I would've remembered by myself without any problem. This was officially the most awkward time I've ever spent with a guy. The strangest thing was, I think I had fun.
*Niall's P.O.V.*
As we were walking I received a text from Liam.
Liam- How's it going with your GIRLFRIEND?
Me- Haha shut up. I barely know her. And not well. For a solid twenty minutes I starred at my feet, not saying a word.
Liam- Congradulations, you failed. X)
Me- Supportive lad. How'd you know I took her out..?
Liam- Explain later. And just tell her you had a good time, it's polite and charming. Bye.
Me- Ok, I will, thanks.
I leaned closer to Linea. "I had a fun time." I grinned. To tell you the truth, I really did.
She blushed and pulled her long hair back behind her ears. "Thank you, same here."
As we walked into the front door of the house, we could see Lou there, looking ever so pleased with himself. "Hi love birds!" he shouted. I could feel my cheeks get red.
"Hi Louis," she mumbled.
I could hear a slight chuckle coming from Zyan. I didn't know what was up, but I was prepared to be embarrassed. "Can we talk to you for a minute Niall? Linea, excuse us." said Louis with a mischievous look on his face. In fact, all the other boys had the same look on their faces. Linea gestured for us to go and that she was fine with it.
