Moments in silence became hours. The two sat on the sofa tangled in each other, not daring to say a word to one another.

Thoughts raced through Luke's mind. What if she's really hurting inside? he thought.

'Of course she's hurting! Idiot!'

Jasmine knitted her eyebrows together and looked at the three faces. All pale and empty, no expression what so ever.

"Jaz, tell me about the dead people you see.." Luke trailed off, he sounded unsure.

Jasmine took a shaky breath before speaking, "There's Amber. She's pretty, she's kind and caring and she comforts me in a way the others don't," she says as a smiled played at her lips.

She looked at Amber who was blushing and grinning like a Cheshire Cat. "There's Cathal, he's like my gay best friend. He has helped me alot in the past." She says yet again smiling. She looked at Cathal who gave her a comforting smile.

She looked at the last face, the smile dropping off her lips. "Darren was the first one i saw, he has made me face reality, no matter how harsh the truth is, without him.. I'd still be screaming myself to sleep.." Jasmine concluded.

Luke held Jasmine in his arms, he looked down at her in a different way he looks a Charlotte. He looked down at her with adoration. Her blue eyes were glancing up into Luke's.

"You know when you said you still love me?" Jasmine asked wriggling out of his grip. Luke nodded, knitting his eyebrows together. "Yeah, I don't love you in that way, anymore." She says, lying to herself. She convinced Luke though, she was always a good liar.

"W-What?" Luke choked out. Jasmine sighed and stood up.

"We're still friends though," she continued. Luke swallowed the lump in his throat and smiled through the pain, not wanting to look pathetic in front of the girl who can see right through his lies.

"Friends.." Luke trailed off as he zoned out. Jasmine bit her lip and nodded sitting on her beanbag, sinking into the much loved bright blue material.

Luke had a million and one thoughts racing through his head as to the Jasmine situation, he stared at the petite girl who was mumbling to herself.

"Jaz, I'm taking you out for dinner with Charlotte and I." He ordered. Jasmine jumped slightly at the sound of Luke's deep voice which interrupted her conversation with herself.

"I don't want to intrude on you an Charlotte's evening," Jasmine says while pulling a strand of her hair which had fallen out of its pony tail.

"You won't, promise." Luke assured the girl as she stood up with a small sigh. Luke was quite happy that Jasmine would possibly be coming to the dinner Charlotte had planned out without any confirmation from Luke, but he had no excuse so he had to say yes.

"Fine." Jasmine sighs as she fixes her hair. Luke gave her a sheepish smile and took her by the hand bringing her upstairs to her room. He saw the portraits and frowned.

"How come there's 6 portraits but only 3 people?" Luke inquired. Jasmine blinked at him as if he had three heads.

"That's a story for another time.." Jasmine mumbled. Luke nodded and made his way over to Jasmines walk in closet where all her clothes are.

He looked at the gorgeous outfits that Jasmine used to wear, but she doesn't anymore. He tugged on the sleeve of a Peter Pan collared silk blouse, that was black and had gold studs in the collar and cuffs.

"You used to look so gorgeous in this," he whispered, admiring the clothing. Jasmine sighed.

"Something else, please." She asked, leaning against the wall, watching as Luke fished through her closet.

"Oh god, This." Luke gasps as he pulls out the red skater dress. Jasmine smiled and nodded, a small smile playing on her lips.

Luke found a black belt to go around the waist, as an attempt to keep the material up on Jasmine as she had lost an incredible amount of weight which her therapist had questioned her about.

Jasmine got changed in the closet while Luke admired the portraits that Jasmine had drew.

Jasmine got dressed and looked herself in the mirror. The dress she used to love hung off her. She sighed and walked out to Luke.

Luke grinned. He thought it looked perfect. Jasmine, she thought otherwise.

Luke sat her down and told her to do a ballerina bun in her hair while he rummaged through the numerous head bands Jasmine owns. He picked out a white flower one and wrapped it around the bun. He grinned and admired the master piece he had out together. He was quite proud of himself.

"C'mon.. Lets go.." Luke says and he linked arms with jasmine. Jasmine smiled although she really couldn't be bothered going to watch Charlotte and Luke being the cute couple she once was with Luke. But one thought kept racing through her mind,

I got to stop falling in love with him, again.
