The tea burned Jasmines throat as they sat in her sitting room drinking the hit liquid. Jasmine sat in her swivel chair while Charlotte and Luke sat on the two seater sofa, side by side.
Jasmine had been observing Charlotte. She seemed to be well mannered, she always said please and thank you. She had a good posture, that showed off her thigh gap and long golden legs.
She wore a black pencil skirt, and a maroon long sleeve woollen crop top with a tank top under neath. Compared to Jasmines ripped shorts and football jersey, she was classy.
Luke cleared his throat awkwardly and peeked over to Jasmine. He bit his lip to stop smiling, he still loved her, but Charlotte was beautiful and intelligent. He liked Charlotte and had been with her the past six months. Him and Jasmine were only together five, but their love was strong.
Charlotte was thinking all sorts about Jasmine. She's such a chav. Wow, Luke knows this girl. She's a stalker, who are those people in the drawings?
Jasmine sighed and pulled her legs up and crossed them. She rubbed her hands against the mug to warm up her hands that were as cold as ice.
'Charlottes thinking bad thoughts about you.'
'Jazzy tell them to leave that you don't want anything to do with them'
'Talk to Luke, alone.'
Charlotte placed her mug on the coffee table and cleared her throat before standing up. She clasped her hands together and let out a small sigh.
"Can I use your bathroom?" She asked. Jasmine looked up at her and over to the portrait she drew on the wall. Charlotte picked up her clutch and walked out.
It's him.
Jasmine nodded and choked out directions before staring at the portrait, ashamed and disgusted. She heard the obnoxious laughter in the back of her mind.
"You okay, Jaz?" Luke asked worriedly as he saw the small petite girl stare at the portrait like it was a mean man who took a baby's candy.
"Just fine." She mumbled. Really Jasmine was upset over the fact that Luke had moved on, and she hasn't. Luke had found someone ten times better and classier than herself.
"You're not," he stated but shrugged it off. "Who are all these portraits of?" He asked curiously. Jasmine held back a laugh as she heard the voices.
'The people that were there for her when you weren't.'
'So true.'
'Jazzy it's true'
"I don't know, I just drew them." She lied. Luke nodded, unconvinced. Jasmine sighed and stood up, gathering the cups and walking into the kitchen. Luke followed her and jumped up to sit on the counter.
Jasmine leaned against the counter and glanced over Luke's appearance. The same skinny jeans, the same vans t - shirt. His hair was now quiffed and he had his lip pierced.
Jasmine sighed. She hasn't changed, apart from her smudged make up and constant crying she never changed. She wasn't one for change.
Charlotte walked back in and she looked like she had been crying. Her eyes were swollen and bloodshot, mascara stains ran down her cheeks.
"Babe, What's wrong?" Luke asked, running over to the girl and engulfing her in a hug. Jasmine bit her lip and stared at the ground awkwardly.
"Luke - I - I" she choked out. A million thoughts ran through her mind. She looked up at him with tears.
"I'm pregnant."
