Trapped in a comma was written by Dare_To_Dream_13 and is a spiritual/fantasy it follow characters like Scarlett and the blond man. It's central plot follow scarlett as she try to decipher what's happening and if the things that are happening are true of false. I'm here to tell you the good and the bad to me at least. Like all reviews i will start with the bad lets begin.
This book contains several things i dislike they are. How i the read have no clue to where i am at in the beginning of the book, i'm assuming it's in hell but it's not enough to assume and if it is set in hell then it's a missed opportunity to show the reader fear. I also dislike how young the doctor makes Scarlett sounds it makes the doctor seem rather old or for scarlett's case a child. When describing something not many people know it's important to explain the meaning of the terminology such as when the doctors say code blue i don't understand what it means. One things the book lacks a lot of is descriptions in characters and in location there is not much of it as to where they are at. There is also a lack of consistency with Scarlett's headaches in chapter three they leave without notice. I dislike that Scarlett takes so long to realize that something is wrong in chapter three she should have realized that when she had headaches or when she became a nominee for prom school she also could have realized that when she was going to pass out on top of that man. One cliche in the book that i dislike is when a cheerleader gets in the way of the main character and the love interest everyone needs to understand that there are other curricular activities females could part take in. It doesn't need to be a cheerleader to make her hot can't women do other things please. Don't you think it seems odd that Scarlett be smiling on all the drills at soccer practice sounds odd. contradiction Scarlett says she isn't good at playing soccer but she try but then why is she good at drill are for helping to play soccer. Another thing i dislike is how every boy Scarlett sees is a cute and she wants to talk to them honestly not all boy are cute. Some useless character are mentioned Mattie and Lauren but Scarlett doesn't talk to them then don't mention them they have no meaning to be said they are useless. The lines "lately she couldn't think right" lately as in today because it hasn't been a day yet. I dislike how character and a friend of hers talk about food for the longest time in chapter seven. I dislike how i have no idea how the characters got to hell you're just forced to accept it. Blond man gets no name but then Mattie and Lauren do get a name. I dislike that Scarlett's Mother doesn't notice anything that happens like her daughter crying or her father coming home in chapter eight. Randomly telling your child there grandma past away that's not what parents do it seems unrealistic. The mother doesn't notice that her daughter is crying again honestly it's amazing Scarlett lived this long this mother notices nothing. There is no ending to what happens Scarlett just gets over her grandmother passing away she moves on fast it's unrealistic that she's not sad anymore. A lack of describing in chapter 10 Scarlett points and says "...I think she usually sit there" is she pointing at a table it's unclear.
Now for the things i like. I like how fast the book starts off it hooked me into the story. I love the line "bitter to the frost bite fear that chained her there slowly beginning to drain her life away" that may be my favorite line in the book. I enjoy how Scarlett isn't the cliche how girl in school. I like when Scarlett exaggerates over how a world of possibly open up now that she is a nominee for prom queen. I adore chapter four clears thing up for me and i have a btter understanding of what's happening. I enjoy how Scarlett has other properties other then wanting romance. I also enjoy chapter six it's somewhat interesting i also like chapter 8 because there's exposition of why blonde man is fighting the demon and it seems to get a purpose. I like Scarlett as a character. Another thing i enjoy is Scarlett's mothers description it was well. I love how the writing is improving as it goes along. The line "sometimes the most beautiful thing are broken" now for sure i found my favorite line not sure if that's a real quote from someone who really lived but i love it great work. I enjoy how unnecessary characters have not been added in a while chapter 10. This book made me laugh which is difficult for a book to do line "she was lucky that her one brain cell hadn't died yet."
PART ONE IS OVER PART TWO BEGINS;
Initial though of the book?
really i had no though toward the book i wasn't skeptical of it being bad or good i was on the fence with this one and was open to it starting off bad or good .
favorite chapter?
my favorite chapter was chapter four it clarifies things for me and opens my mind to theories of what happened and what was going to happen to Scarlett
on a scale of one to 10 how much you enjoyed the character?
i would give it 7 they were not bad there were cliche character but they were good (the cheerleader.)
