Rose tossed and turned, having a nightmare about the Daleks and Van Statten's basement. She finally awoke, screaming and sweating..She clamped her hands over her mouth, hoping the Doctor hadn't heard her screaming. But she was wrong, he had heard Rose, and the Doctor ran to Rose's bedroom.
"Are you alright?" He asked, clearly concerned.
"No, not really." Rose said, wiping tears from her eyes.
The Doctor pulled Rose into his arms, hugging her. Rose was surprised, but she hugged back. He rocked Rose back and forth, until she fell asleep. The Doctor laid her back down, and planted a kiss on Rose's forehead.
