I guess i had fallen asleep cause when i woke up Dominik was gone and i was by myself. I laid there in bed staring at the ceiling. Not even a week ago my life was normal and now im living with vampires. Not to mention going to marry one. I closed my eyes as i thought. Dominik was nice he was different then his dad and Ash. But i felt like there were things that i did not know nor would i understand but time i hope he will open up. I heard a light knock on my door.

"Come in." I said looking towards the door as it opened. I saw a man i did not know step in. He bowed as he closed the door. I sat up in the bed looking at him. He took one step towards me and i froze. It was the guard who carried me. my lips twitched into a small smile as i realized this.

"Miss?" He asked.

"My name is Kylie, whats your name?" I asked relaxing.

"Aiden ma'am." He said standing there akwardly.

"Aiden..i like that name. But um Aiden can you tell exactly why your in my room." I said to him. I watched as it seemed like he was confused as much as i was.

"I..uh..I wanted to see if you were ok." He said. I sat there thinking if i was ok. My arm still stung, i was worried about my life now seeing how Dominiks father is.

"Im ok" I lied.

"Kylie you do know i can hear your thoughts right?" Aiden said chuckling. I gasped in embrassment." Its ok i would have lied to. If they know your weak theyll take advantage of it. Your brave though i can sense it." Aiden said smiling at me.

"Thank you..i guess." We just looked at each other as it seemed time stood still." So are you a guard or something?" I asked.

"Well sorta of, Ive got some abilites i guess you could say. And im also a good friend of Dominiks." Aiden said leaning against the wall.

"What abilites? You guys have abilites? Thats sooo cool." I said leaning against my knees.

"Not all of us have abilites and yeah i guess it is cool." Aiden said. He stood there looking off into space when my door swung open. Dominik stood there staring at us his eyes roamingover me and then landing on Aiden.

"Dominik." Aiden said facing him. A grin on his face. Dominik stepped in and closed the door.

"I sensed another vampire and i wasnt sure if Kylie was in danger." Dominik said walking over to the bed to sit down. He grabbed my hand that was on my knee and placed it into his. I looked down and smiled it seemed like he didnt even notice that he did it. I looked up at Aiden and saw him wink at me. We all decided to head out and walk around the grounds for a little bit instead of staying inside. I had them leave the room so i could grab and shower and change my clothes. I got into the shower and let the water run down my body easing the tension in me. Washing away the pain and worry. I didnt know how long i was in there but the warm water started turning cold i shut off the water and stepped out and realized i left my towel out in the room. I stepped out and headed towards the dresser where i leftonly to hear someone cough. I turned around to see Ash sitting on my bed. I screamed and tried to cover myself. Ash stood and walked towards me.
