The curtain was just closing. My smile couldn't have been larger. The play had gone well, no pranks, mainly because if a student was caught doing anything close to bullying was out, after the fiasco a few years ago. I had the lead role again. Like always. This year was so much fun. Though I wasn't the most popular kid in the play, which I never am, people still listened to and respected me. That is all I need. The play keeps the bullies away also, because I rarely have an understudy, and the play is huge for the school. But tomorrow the play will be over, and bullies will be all over me. But I try not to think about that. Tonight is my night, and no one can get in the way of that. But tomorrow...... Hannah! Stop! I'm sorry that just happened. Tomorrow will be miserable. If only.... that would never happen. The only time someone would stand up for me is play season, which will be over. I wish there was play after play, then I wouldn't have to worry about bullying. If only. No one is on my side, no one will stand up for me. Well, I think.
