Kenma refused to sleep that night, afraid that Yoshe had somehow escaped and was still at his window. Even if Kuroo wanted to be with him, he couldn't because he had to fix some other problems.
It was normal for Kenma to avoid sleeping since he always stayed up playing video games, so this wasn't much different from any other normal day. He grabbed his Nintendo 3Ds, which was the closest to him, and began playing The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
He was really nervous, yes, but he always tried to keep a mask on so his emotions wouldn't show.
"It's going to be alright, tomorrow is another day." He repeated to himself until he looked outside his window, noticing it was almost day time.
He stood up and grabbed his uniform, going to the bathroom to take a quick shower before going to school.
At almost 5:30, Kuroo was knocking at Kenma's door, grinning happily.
"Kenma! Let's go to school together!" He said happily as Kenma opened the door, getting out while looking down.
"Did you get any sleep, baby?" Kuroo gently grabbed Kenma's chin and slowly pushed his head back, looking at him carefully. Kenma had small bags under his eyes and looked paler than usual.
"I'm okay, don't worry." Kenma grabbed Kuroo's hand, but he wasn't fine.
"Kenma, come to my house after school, you can stay there until you feel better." Kuroo hugged Kenma to try and assure him that everything was going to be alright.
"Yes, thank you." Kenma nuzzled his face against Kuroo's chest, hugging the other male tightly.
After a few seconds, they pulled away from the hug, Kuroo grabbing Kenma's hand with a small grin.
"Let's go."
