Chapter 4

Truth and Love?

[Lucy's POV]

I woke up and got up from the bed. I went to the bathroom to take a shower. After a shower and changed into my usual casual clothes. Then I head to the kitchen and Ri is already making breakfast. Ri started making the batter for the pancakes while the pan is on the stove. After she was done with the batter, she took out one more pan. I sweatdropped.

'Is she going to do the cooking all by herself? Is she going to be okay?'

As her leader, I'm worried that she will make a mess out of everything like Natsu but I don't know if she needs help or not. I can't help to worry because this is my apartment of course. Natsu burned down my rented apartment and I got kick out because of him. I even have to put ruin protection from Natsu at night.

"Um... Ri... You need help from me?"

Rina: "I'm fine. Don't worry. Let me do the cooking as thanks for letting me stay in this place."

She took out some eggs from the fridge and started cracking the eggs. She dropped them into the first pan and the eggs came out as a circle shape. Ri was happy with the result and let it slowly cook. Then she went to the second pan and started making the pancakes. She was multi-tasking as she cooks. Ri was doing everything smoothly and I was in awe. Everything she does, there was no mistake at all. After 15 minutes of cooking, Ri has finished preparing breakfast without my help.

"Woah! It looks good and smells good too. When do you learn how to cook?"

Rina: "After you disappeared, I decided to learn to do things on my own."

Then the rest of the girls have woken up and was standing in the dining room. They saw pancakes and breakfast eggs that were still steaming hot.

All the girls: "Oh my Mavis!"

"Hey girls, Good morning!"

All the girls: "Good morning Lucy/Lu-chan/Lucy-nee."

Erza: "Did you made this?"

"Nope, not me. Ri made them."

I point at Ri who was still in the kitchen, flipping the pancake by lifting the pan upwards which makes the pancakes turn to the opposite side. Then Ri set down the plate that was full of pancakes and put down the jug of juice.

Levi: "Wow, I didn't imagine Rina-chan can cook as well as Lu-chan."

Rina: "Help yourself. I bet there will be more people coming."

"How do you..."

"Ding Dong!"

Someone has pressed the doorbell and I opened the door to see Gajeel, Juvia, Gray and Lily outside of my apartment. I smiled at them with joy.

"Come on in. Ri made breakfast eggs and pancakes. You must be hungry."

Gajeel: "Thanks, Bunny-chan."

Juvia and Gray: "Sorry for the interruption."

Lily: "Thank you for letting us in."

Gajeel and Juvia enter first along with Lily. Gray was messing with my hair. I got annoyed and pushed Gray's hand off my head.

"Hey, stop it. I just comb it nicely."

I pout at Gray with my unhappy face. He was giggling 'hehe' at me.

I guide the four of them to the dining room. Erza was putting maple syrup onto her pancakes. Levy was enjoying her pancakes, Wendy and Carla were quietly eating their pancakes. Ri was pouring juice into Wendy's and Carla's cups. I sat down beside Ri and started eating. After breakfast, Rina says she has something to say. She mind link with me.
