Chapter 9

Singing Competition

It's been 2 months since Rina joined fairytail and she is Lucy's partner. Natsu is always wanting to fight with Rina but he lost every time. Lisanna is still unhappy that Lucy is still around. She tried to attack Lucy but was beat up by Rina herself. Rina is the third strongest female mage after Mira and Erza.

[Rina's POV]

I woke up, got off the bed and head to the bathroom for a bath. After a short bath, I changed to my casual clothes. I went to the kitchen and starts making breakfast for everyone.

'What should I make today?'

I looked around and an idea pops out.

'I know. I will make grilled eel and miso soup with rice.'

I washed the rice and let it slowly cooked. Then I make the miso soup and the grilled eel. The rest of the girls woke up to the sound of the grilling sound.

'Darn it. I woke them up.'

All the girls: "Good morning, Rina-chan."

"Good morning. Wash up and eat your breakfast."

The girls came back and ate breakfast.

The girls: "This breakfast is good!"

"Thanks."

After breakfast, we head to the guild. We met Gajeel, Juvia, Gray and Lilly as we were heading to the guild.

Gray: "Morning Luce."

Lucy: "Mor...Morning, Gray."

I giggled at Lucy and Gray.

'They are really a cute couple.'

We entered the guild and everyone was being rowdy for some reason. I walked to Mira and waved at her. Mira smiled and waved back. I head to her and passed her the photos quickly without anyone noticing. Mira nodded and we pretended that nothing has happened between us.

Mira: "Good morning Rina."

"What's going on Mira-san?"

I pointed out to the crowd of people.

Mira: "Oh... We are having a singing competition. Two people will be pair up and the pair will be singing on stage."

Singing competition?

Lucy: "Let's enter as a pair, Ri."

"Okay, Lucy-sama."

Mira: "The pair who wins gets to go to the water park with another person. Not only that, they will be staying in a 5-star hotel for a night."

Lucy: "Sounds like a good prize."

"Let's win this."

Mira signed Lucy and I up for the competition. So, a total of 12 pairs is competing with each other. The 12 pairs are...

The first pair to 6th pair is random members of the guild.

7th pair: Natsu and Lisanna

8th pair: Elfman and Evergreen

9th pair: Levi and Gajeel

10th pair: Mira and Laxus

11th pair: Gray and Juvia

12th pair: Lucy and Rina

[Lucy's POV]

Master: "Here are the competition rules: Firstly, a pair will be singing a song that they have chosen. Next, the audience will be the ones judging the pair who is on the stage. Lastly, do your best in the competition."
