Nightmares

*Julian's P.O.V*
I fell asleep thinking...

I started dreaming. Nani and I were on a cruise with some other people I dont recognize any of them but one of them looks just like me so Im assuming that's my brother Jovani.
We were on the cruise balcony watching a sunset. Then out of nowhere it started raining very roughly and the ocean started getting violent.
Nani was getting scared and I told her it was all going to be okay and I was actually in huge fear at that moment. But I didn't show it because I wanted her to feel safe. A huge wave hit us. I was trying to hold Nani as tight as I could but the water was too strong and took her from me.
I barely grabbed a hold of some ropes that were fighting the water just like me. The water got out the balcony and I was finally able to stand. I was alone. Nani and the others had disappeared. Then an even bigger wave came and covered the entire ship. It sinked. I hit my head with what I believe was a table. I honestly hit my head with practically everything that was inside the water.
"Julian! Julian wake up!" I woke up startled
When I opened my eyes I saw Nani in front of me.
I hugged her and started crying like an idiot.
"Shh its okay... It was all a dream. Its not real babyboi its just a bad dream."

*Nani's P.O.V*

I got woken up by shaking... It was Julian. I think he's having a nightmare.
I got out of bed and stood up next to him. He was shaking and all sweaty.
"Julian! Julian wake up!" I told him.
He opened his eyes in a very startled way and then he just hugged me and started crying.
I hugged him back and started comforting him by telling him that its okay and that it was all just a bad dream.
He finally calmed down. But he kept hugging me.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" I asked him

He explained me his dream and I couldnt believe my ears...

"Julian... That dream, that dream was real. That cruise did sink. Thats how you lost your memory. I was in a coma for a month. I woke up three days ago. The rest were okay. I cant believe you had a dream about it... Your memory might be starting to come back."
"So this is good?"
"Yes. Have you had any dreams like this?"
"For the last month I haven't really dreamed anything. This is my first dream in a month."
"Lets hope you get more memory dreams. Now come on lets get you some breakfast."

I grabbed his hand and got him in the bathroom.
"Come to the kitchen when your done." I told him

I went down to the kitchen and made him some pancakes after a few minutes he came down the stairs.

"You know, Jovani's gonna be here in two hours." I said while I handed him his pancakes.
"Really?"
"Yea but just him. I'll keep bringing you people that are important in your life one by one... That way its kind of easier to get you to know them."
"Yea sounds good. Are you and Jovani close?"
"Yea Jovani's my best friend. When Jovani comes do you wanna maybe go out somewhere?"
"Nah let's stay here."
"Okay. Hey I have a question... Where have you stayed for the last month?"
"Well when I woke up, I woke up in a beach I didnt remember anything so I didnt know where to go. An old lady came to me and was polite enough to let me stay with her until I figured out what to do."
"You should go to her and tell her that u found somewhere to stay. Theres no way in hell that Im letting you go again."
"Alright... I'll tell her tomorrow."

Jovani came over after a few hours we explained to him how Julian had lost his memory and about his nightmare and that maybe he could remember by his dreams.
Jovani wanted to stay and I had no problem with that.

I was getting ready for bed and Julian walked in the room.
"Hey Nani. Im sleeping on the guest room with Jovani is that okay?"
"Yea of course its okay. Do whatever you want."
"Night Nani."
"Night."
I guess he wants to spend sometime with Jovani.

I went to sleep because I was pretty tired... I don't know why tho I didn't really do anything today.

*Julian's P.O.V*

"You still love her right?" Jovani asked me.
"I don't know... Shes an amazing girl and shes really special but, I honestly don't know how I feel... I think I love her but Im not sure."
"Its okay man... As soon as you get your memory back you wont doubt it anymore. You two were everyone's favorite couple and, to be honest, I have never seen a couple that loves each other with so much passion and desire. With so much respect and trust towards each other. You guys are the perfect couple."
The thought that we were the perfect couple made me feel tingly inside and happy. I guess I do love her.
"How about you? Do you have a special girl in your life?" I asked him snapping out of my thoughts.
"Nah. I haven't found the one yet. You lucky that you found yours."
"I hope you find that special someone bro."
"And I hope you take care of yours."
That got me thinking... What if I loose her? What am I gonna do?
"Lets go to sleep bro. We dont want to wake Nani up." Jovani told me.
"Yea okay."
I turned off the light and laid on my bed (there are two beds in that room).
"Night bro." Jovani told me
"Night"
I fell asleep.

I was on a road trip with Nani and I was driving up a hill. We were both singing along to One Dance which was on the radio.
She looked so happy. But that happiness didnt last long. Her face expression changed to fear.
"Julian look out!"
I looked at the road and a momma deer with her three babies were on the middle of the road.
"Oh shit!" I screamed
I tried to avoid them and the car got out of control.
The car got off the road and we were rolling down the hill.
"Julian if we dont make it I want you to know that I love you and that you are the best thing thats ever happened to me!"
Even on this terrifying moment she was her sweet self.
"I lo-"
The car crashed into a tree.
I was in huge pain. I turned my head to see if Nani was okay.
When I saw her, she had her eyes closed. She had blood all over her face and her shirt and she wasn't moving.
"Nani!? Nani please stay with me babygirl!!"
No answer.

I got woken up because someone was shaking me.
I opened my eyes to see both Jovani and Nani.
"Are you okay bro?" Jovani asked me.
"Another nightmare Im guessing? Nani said
"Yea..."
"What was it this time?"
I told them my nightmare and they both looked at me with wide eyes.
"Julian, you guys were in that car accident one year ago." Jovani said
"I told you... He's getting his memory back trough his dreams. This is good."
"Why is it always something scary? Every dream he's had is of a terrible experience" Jovani said
"Maybe because he's remembering the most intense moments of his life..."
Nani sat down next to me and pulled my head down to her shoulder.
"Its going to be okay honey." She told me as she ran her fingers trough my hair.
"What time is it?" I asked.
Did I wake them up? Was it still night or was it already morning?
"Its three in the morning" Jovani said.
"Sorry for waking you guys up."
"Its okay. Dont worry about it." Nani said.
She got up.
"Im going back to bed. Im really tired. Try to get some sleep okay?"
She walked over to Jovani and gave him a kiss on the cheek and hugged him.
Then she came to me and kissed my cheek and also hugged me.
"I love you both" she said as she close the door behind her.

Man these nightmares are intense...
"She still has the scars." Jovani said.
"What scars?"
"The ones from the car accident."
"I feel bad... That was my fault."
"No Julian. You didnt do anything wrong. It just happened. Dont beat yourself up."
"I dont know bro."
"Try to get some sleep okay? Im really tired. We'll talk in the morning okay?"
"Yeah okay. Sleep well."
"You too."

Please no more nightmares...
