Alyssa's POV

"Where are we going?" I asked Orion.

We were riding his car with him driving while I'm here sitting in the shotgun seat still clueless as to where we are going.

"Relax princess. You're going to enjoy it." He said with a smirk plastered across his face.

"Okay. I'll just be here cluelessly waiting."

"How long have you been here on Earth?" He asked all of a sudden.

"I think I have been here for only three days."

"So, that explains why you're very new to this place. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it and sooner or later, you will find yourself enjoying your stay."

"If you don't mind me asking, what does 'get the hang of it' mean?" I asked cluelessly.

"Oh I'm sorry. It means get used to. You know you'll get used to the place."

"Oh, sorry. I hope you don't find me weird or boring. I'm kind of enjoying your company I don't wanna scare you away." I said nervously.

"Don't worry, princess. I'm enjoying your company as well. You're very fun to be with. I don't think I'll ever grow tired of having you by my side."

"Thank you. I needed that. I'm just afraid that my new found friends might leave me and I will be left alone to deal with Dred all by myself."

"Hey, don't ever think like that again. We'll never leave you. I'll never leave you. I'll always be by your side to protect you."

The words he said really warmed my heart.

"Cheer up princess were here." He said and stepped out the car.

I was about to open my door when he ran to my side.

"Let me." He said and opened the car door for me before extending his hand for me to take and I gladly took it.

I stepped out of the car and was surprised at what I saw.

"Woah!"
