~timeskip of 6 years~ Simon "Come on buddy your mom is waiting for us in the car" I say to my son "Okay dad!" He says happily going to the car I get him situated in his car seat "Mommy where are we going" I hear Sam ask from the back "We're going to do a bit of shopping but first where going to go get coffee" "Even me!" We laugh "No Sammy you're to young" I tell him We stop at the coffee shop I was sipping my drink Sam got a lemonade I took a photo of him because he looked adorable

After a while "Si I need to run to the bank can you stay here while I do it" "I can drive you" "It's right there just let me walk" I take a deep breath "okay"
"Daddy look" Sam says looking out the window "Police cars!" I look out they were going really fast probably in a hurry to get somewhere I got a funny feeling in my stomach *gunshot* There was a gunshot that could barley be heard in the distance A lady from the shop made an announcement to go hide in the back "my wife's at the bank I need to go!" I say to a lady "I'm sorry sir we can't let you out until we get an okay" "B-but my wife" my voice cracks signaling that I'm about to cry "She'll be okay there's like 10 cops handling it" I decide not to argue anymore I took Sam in my arms "Daddy what's going on?" "I don't know Sam" I say lying I held Sam closely as possible to me About 10 minutes later we get an okay that's it's okay to leave I leave Sam with the lady I talked to earlier I ran around the block I'm stopped by a man who wouldn't let me through "This is a privet area sir" "M-my wife is she okay" "Do you have a recent photo" I show him the one I took that day He takes a deep breath "She was shot by the criminal she was rushed to the hospital instantly" "Which one" I say crying He tells me the address I call the boys to come and get Sam at the hospital Sam was crying "Daddy what's going on? I want mommy" I stop at a stoplight "Sammy uncle JJ,Vikky,And uncle Josh are going to pick you up and you'll going to hang out with them for a few hours" "Yay!" I smile a sad smile and get sam out of the car I pick him up and go into the waiting room "Stay here Sammy" He nodded and played on my phone "Hi I'm here to see Lane Minter" The Lady behind the counter typed in her name "I'm sorry sir you can't see her at the moment she was rushed into surgery" "When can I see her?" In about an hour or whenever the surgery's over" I nodded and took a seat by Sam The boys come in "We called Ethan tobi Cal and Harry They're on their way" I nodded "Vikky! Sam yelled and held onto vikk" "Why do you call me that" he said laughing "That's what my mommy calls you" His smile drops "That is what your mom calls me" We all talk share funny memories with lane "Remember when we all played never have I ever" JJ says "No" Harry,cal,tobi,and vikk say "That's right you were not there" "Simon" The lady said from behind the counter We all jump and run over there even Sam "Yes?" "You and only you can go see her now" "Is she okay" "Yes sir it was close though it was truly a miracle she's in room 72 2nd floor" I smile kneel down to Sam "Mommy's okay" All the boys were happy Sam was laughing "I want to see mommy" "Give me a few minuets Sammy" He nodded "Okay daddy" I run to the elevator I run down hallway I knock on the door A male voice said "come in" I run in and see lane in a hospital bed She was sleeping her heart beat was at a steady pase "We were able to save her luckily there was no enteral bleeding" I nodded sitting down I held onto her hands "Can you go get my son from down stairs?" He nodded "Of course" I put my head on the bed and started crying tears of sadness mixed with joy "I love you lane" "Mommy!" Sammy ran in and sat the foot of her bead he was laid on her legs I didn't sleep that night The boys came in and saw her and left They didn't take Sam I wanted him to see lane when she woke up
"Simon?" My head shot up and hugged lane I started to cry "I missed you so much baby" I felt her tears against my cheeks and a smile on her lips "Mommy!" a happy voice yelled hugging her She cried holding him his messy blonde hair mixing with her brown hair that sticked out in many places
I loved her She was beautiful
