There is a legend.....
One among the Royals
The true heir to the throne
The savior of us all
Shall bare the mark unlike all others
Not gray not black not crescent or half
The mark is the sign of a new age
Pure white as the first snow
A full circle to represent the moon
And the challenges we have faced
Coming in a full circle
The Royal will have powers like no other
And will have golden eyes never seen before
The moon will be blood-red on the day of it's birth
Representing the sorrows to come
And the hardships that will follow

They ran through the forest, not daring to look behind them. They could hear the thudding paw-steps of their pursuers. The two people, a man and a woman, new that they had no chance of escaping. The woman glanced down at the baby in her arms. The baby was only a day old.
"Go! Go Josephine! You must keep her safe! Leave me, I'll hold them off!" the young man shouted.
"No! I wont leave you! I wouldn't get very far anyway. There are too many of them! Sky must take her." Josephine sadly told him.
"Don't be stupid Josephine! You know very well that an eagle can't raise a child!" he shouted again.
"I do know that Derek! Sky will just have to get her to safety. Sky knows where to take her. She is our last chance. Our only hope." the woman said sadly.
"Sky!" Derek shouted. "Take her and leave us. You know where to go."
A dark shape flew over-head and Josephine glanced down at the sleeping baby sadly. A golden necklace was clasped around the chubby baby. On the end of the necklace was a golden locket with a wolf set in diamonds howling on the front of it. On the back was the little baby's name, Jessabelle. Inside was a picture of Derek and Josephine, her parents.
The shadow flew by again, lower, and Josephine tossed the sleeping baby into the air. The eagle, Sky, caught her with ease and flew off. The couple slowed down, knowing that they would not escape. They were immediately surrounded by 17 wolves.
The lead wolf srltepped forward and snarled, "Where is it! Where is the baby!"
"You will never find her!" Derek sneered back.
The wolf lunged at Derek, who at the last moment, was shoved aside by Josephine. The wolf's claws mangled her chest.
"No!" Derek shouted, but it was too late. Josephine was gone. Derek lunged at the wolf that had killed his mate and met his own doom.
