Jessabelle's POV
Darkness. I was completely surrounded by darkness. Then came the pain. Fire coursed through my bloodstream. I felt like screaming, but I couldn't. I felt like I was being smothered. Like a dark, heavy blanket covering me. I panicked. The pain spiked. I was being devoured by flames.
Cool water suddenly flowed over me. I was still surrounded by darkness, but I felt no pain. Suddenly, the water started to smother me. It wrapped around me like a cocoon. I couldn't breath! I was drowning! The water continued to smother me.
A warm wind swept the water away. It whipped around me. I was in the center of a mini tornado. I felt like I was floating in the darkness. The wind suddenly pressed down on me, forcing the oxygen out of my lungs. It ripped at my skin, creating a pain that I never felt before.
A wall of earth blocked the wind. More walls surrounded me. I was trapped in a pocket of earth with no way out. The pocket caved in, smothering me, choking me.
A peaceful feeling erupted inside of me. I felt calm and at peace. I closed my eyes, even though that didn't make a difference in the complete blackness. While I experienced all of these things, a voice chanted in my mind.
'Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Light, Life, Darkness, Death. These are all eight of the elements that you have been gifted with. Four physical elements, four spiritual elements. Combined, the eight elements create Spirit, the most powerful of them all. Do not be afraid to use Death and Darkness. They are not as bad as they seem. Use your gift wisely, don't fall into the traps that the power hungry people have set for you. Listen to your heart, it will guide you.'
I felt like I was being pulled forward, and opened my eyes to a bright white light.

Luke's POV
I watched my long lost sister as she slept. More like a coma actually. I sighed and looked at Nathan who was sleeping in the chair on the other side of her bed. We have been taking shifts watching her sleep. I looked back at Jessabelle only to see her hand twitch.
"Nathan! Nathan! I think she's waking up!" I whispered/shouted.
Nathan jerked awake and we both watched her with attentive eyes.
'*.--/.-/-/./.-. .-.-.-' she tapped onto the mattress.
"Sky, what is she doing?" I asked.
'She is using morse code. That is how we were able to communicate before she shifted. She wants water,' Sky told me.
Jessabelle's eyes fluttered slightly. I called the nurse and she checked her vitals.
"Well, she seems to be getting stronger," the nurse said. "We still don't know the cause for her sudden collapse. Has she talked yet?"
"No," I told her. "But she used morse code to ask for water."
"She may open her eyes later today or early tomorrow," the nurse told us.
I only nodded my head in reply and continued to watch her.
4 hours later
I was dosing off when I saw a sudden movement out of the corner of my eye. I jerked my head up and saw her eye lids twitch. Nathan was still awake so I didn't need to wake him up. Her eyes flew open and we gasped. Her eyes were blue before, but now they are gold. Jessabelle slowly sat up and looked around.
"Where am I?" she asked hesitantly.
"You are in our pack's hospital," I replied.
She nodded her head before falling back asleep.
