Chapter 13 - Asriel's Memories

Alphys stuttered of what Asriel asked her to do," S-so are you saying that.. I-I have make a body f-for your s-s-sister? Why?" Asriel looked at Chara, she wasn't moving. Asriel put his hand on Chara's shoulder and said," Because I care for my sister.. And I think all she wants is to be with me.. With me, Mom and Dad."

Alphys looked at Chara and at Asriel and said," W-well, I can make a body for her, b-but it's going to take a long time.. C-can you wait? Y-you can wait, right?" Asriel smiled and said," Yeah I can wait.."

[4 weeks later]

Then Asriel gets a phone call, it's from Alphys. Asriel answers and says," Hello?" Alphys says on the phone," Asriel... " Strange. It's not Alphys. It's someone else, it's sounds familiar... "Asriel.... I'll be coming home.. It'll be good to see you again, with Mom and Dad.. I love you.." Said the voice and the phone hanged up.

Toriel said from the kitchen," Asriel my child, who was that talking to you?" Asriel thought about for a second and said," It's nothing, just getting some news, I guess..."

Toriel comes to Asriel and gives him a slice of butterscotch pie. "It's your favorite, Asriel.. Do you remember?" Asriel makes a smile and says," Yeah.. I remember.."

Toriel makes a smile at her son and says," Asriel, my son... I just want to say.. Thank you for coming back. I thought I would never see your face again.." Asriel makes a smile at his goat mom and said," Yeah.. Me too." Toriel made a quick look at the clock and looks back at her goat son," Ok Asriel, it's getting late, when you're done eating, put the plate in the sink and-

Asriel finished her sentence and said," Change into my pjs, brush my teeth, face my face, and go to sleep. Mom, I know what to do, I'm almost seventeen. I can take care of myself." Toriel paused for a second and said," Ok, my son. If you say so, goodnight, my son." Asriel said back," Goodnight, mom."

Toriel gave Asriel a kiss on the forehead and walked to her room. And so did Asriel.

Asriel got changed, and grab the photo frame. It was photo of Toriel, Asgore and Asriel. He remembered some of the times when Chara was living with him. She wasn't as violent back then. She would always dress up as Toriel and mock her, which made Asriel laugh. He also remembered how high-pitched his voice was. His voice is a more deeper now. Puberty hit him like a truck, that Asriel couldn't talk for almost two minutes. He, then remembered when he and Chara started to record themselves. Asriel put back the photo frame and remembered when he and Chara found the tape recorder.

[FLASHBACK]

About when Chara and Asriel were much younger, they were playing in Asgore and Toriel's room. Chara was dressed as Toriel and pretending to shoot fire magic. Chara said in her best Toriel voice," Greetings, Asriel my child! You are grounded! Go to your room!" Asriel giggled and said," No! You are not my mom! You're Chara, my sister!"

Chara laughed and tripped and hit the dresser making a box fall. Asriel ran to Chara," Chara! Are you ok?" Chara smiled and said,"Pff.. Nah.. I'm tough.. That didn't hurt!" Asriel helped Chara and noticed the box that fell. Asriel picked it up and looked inside. There was a recorder, with some tapes.

Chara grabbed the box from Asriel's hand and grabbed the recorder out of the box. Chara smiled at it and said," Cool, a recorder.. I've always liked these." Asriel looked at it, then at Chara. Chara thought of something and smiled at the idea. Chara smiled at Asriel," You thinking, what I'm thinking..?" Asriel thought for a second and said," I don't think I am.." Chara laughed and said," Well, I'm thinking that we could use the tape recorder and use to record ourselves. Mostly just for fun!" Asriel smiled and said," Ok! We just have to ask Mom and Dad if they're ok!" Chara laughed and said,'' Do we have to tell them about everything?" Asriel said," Well.. They have to know, it was in their room.."

Chara nodded her head in agreement," I guess, that's true... Now come on! Let's go have some fun! Race you to Mom and Dad!" Chara started running to the hallway. Asriel ran after Chara and said," No fair! You were the closest to the door!"

[END OF DA MEMORY]

Asriel smiled at the memory. He remembers having some with Chara, like the one time they were making butterscotch pie, instead of putting in cups of butter, they put in buttercups. Asgore got sick when trying it, and Toriel wasn't happy. Asriel looked at the time, it was getting late, so he crawled into his covers. He knew that Chara would be coming home soon. But he wondered who was the voice talking to him on the phone. Then, he realized it was Chara.

Asriel's eyes widen when he thought that. Then he was pretty tired, so his eyes didn't really widen. He closed his eyes, then he remembered something too.

He remembered when he first met Chara. He remembered it like it was yesterday. He would never forget that moment.

[FLASHBACK]

Asriel was in the ruins with Toriel. He was helping with some stuff, but he couldn't remember what he was doing, until he heard a sound. He heard a girl's scream and a thud. Asriel and Toriel heard the noise. Toriel said," Oh my goodness! What was that?!"

Asriel and Toriel walked towards the sound.

"It's sounds like it came from over here." Said Asriel.

When he found out what it was.. There was a girl laying on the ground. It had brown hair, with a green and yellow striped shirt, green shorts, and some brown boots. Asriel walked towards it and said," Oh, you fallen, haven't you? Here get up.."

Asriel lend out his hand. The girl looked up and saw Asriel. She had big brown eyes. She looked at his hand, and back at Asriel. She slowly grabbed his warm hands (or paws). She got up, and Asriel held her to help her walk. The girl said a bit weakly," My... Name is.. Chara.." Asriel smiled at the name.

"That's a nice name."

"My name is.... Asriel." He said slowly.
