It was just like any other hunting trip. So like always, something bad was about to happen.
"Can we stop?" Gwaine complains. "And why would we?" Arthur says annoyed . He gets the same answer everybody was expecting: "I'm hungry." "You are always hungry Gwaine." Elyan says and the whole group starts to laugh. "Sire, I think too that we should stop. The horses are tired and it's getting dark" Leon says. Arthur lifts his gaze to the sky. Leon was right, the sun had already started to set and the sky was getting orange. "You are right. We make camp here. Merlin, you know what to do." Arthur orders and Merlin immediately sets off to work. After he had made a fire he went to the river nearby to get some water. That is when everything started to go downhill.
A deep voice echoes through the camp: "Well hello there" Arthur and the knights draw their swords and run in front of Merlin as a large man approaches him. The man had a black shirt, black trousers and brown boots. He also had a big scar that went under his left eye to his neck. Merlin just stares him. "Who are you and what do you want?" Arthur demands . "I'm only here for the boy" The man comes closer. "Merlin, will you come voluntarily, or will my men have to shoot you like the last time?" He asks and approximately 20 archers come from the woods, all aiming straight at Merlin. "Or of course I can just shoot your little friends here and then take you." "Fine. You can take me if you don't hurt them." Merlin says and walks straight to the man. "No Merlin!" "Stop!" "What the hell are you doing?!" "You're getting yourself killed!" his friends shout. The man grabs Merlin and puts a dagger on his throat. "Don't follow" Merlin orders. "Yes, very wise words! Listen to your friend and go home, do not try to look for him." The man threatens as he starts to back away, dagger still on Merlin throat. Arthur and the knights are scared to do anything before they are sure the man is gone, they don't want Merlin to get hurt. They break the camp and ride straight back to Camelot. They will find Merlin. Even if that's the last thing they do, they will get Merlin back home. They have to.
