Amanda's POV:

Amanda panicked as she looked around. The zombies were closing in on her, and definitely didn't look friendly.

"What do you want from me?" she demanded, hand on her chin.

For a brief moment, Amanda thought she heard laughter. But, the snickers soon faded, being replaced with zombie moans and groans.

"I-I can't help you if you don't show me what you want-" Amanda pressed, taking another step back.

One of the zombies, by the looks of it the leader of the pack, approached her. One of his soulless eyes was gone, and replaced by a wad of coal. When he grinned, it seemed savage, due to all his rotten teeth and abnormal mouth.

"Something tells me you guys aren't ordinary zombies. Can you communicate with me?" Amanda took one final step back. She felt something brush against her heel, and looked down.

The edge of the portal was right behind her. One more attempted step and she'd fall in.

The growls of the zombies got louder. Amanda ignored them, wondering what to do. She was trapped, and by a nether portal, filled with different kinds of monsters.

Amanda heard a groan in her ear, very loudly this time. She bit her lip. This wasn't right, the zombies were all following coal zombie. Muttering a curse under her breath, Amanda turned.

The coal zombie was inches from her face, examining her. Amanda held her breath (as if that would help), and kept still. She watched with horror as the zombie grinned wickedly, then gave her a shove.

Amanda sat up, her vision blurry. She couldn't remember what happened beforehand, all she knew was that now she was in the nether.

Amanda pushed herself up and waited as her eyes started to adjust. She looked around anxiously, hoping for a way out.

She didn't see one.

"Darn it," she hissed, biting her nails. That's what she always did when she was nervous. Though Amanda normally acted emotionless, she couldn't now.

White eyes, a horde of monsters, abnormal zombies...

It all made sense now.

There could only be one reason why she was in the nether.

Herobrine wanted her.

Steve's POV:

Steve woke up in the middle of the night. Normally he would sleep soundly, but something wasn't right. He could feel it.

Steve pushed himself up, looking around. The lights were out, so he couldn't see much, but he had woken up a few times in the past. He definitely saw the silhouette of something then that he didn't see now.

It took Steve a minute to realize what was up. Amanda was gone.

Steve swore, ignoring the profanity of the word he used. Yanking the covers off himself, he stormed to the basement, where he and Amanda kept all their best loot.

Steve approached a large iron door, one requiring a certain combination of buttons and levers. Grimly, he approached the large wall, knowing the fate that laid ahead of him. He would have to go through the torture of millions of combinations.

This is something you will think is dumb, but Steve could never get the combination in his head. It was too complicated. He always relied on Amanda for these types of things, she had a photographic memory.
