"So he knew that it was the Highwayman? How did he know it was him?" Liam wanted to know.

"I don't know! He said that it was a secret!" Louis exclaimed.

"What are we in sixth grade? Seriously," he scoffed.

"Do you know what this means, Liam?" Louis demanded, eagerly.

"Um..."

"It means that Niall knows something about the Highwayman, he might even have a connection to our Robin Hood!" Louis shouted excitedly.

"Bro, chill, c'mon,"

"Say's you, what was with you and Zayn today?" Louis asked suggestively.

Liam cleared his throat and hid his blushing cheeks.

"Relax, Liam, I was kidding... Liam?" Louis was so confused.

"Oh, oh it was nothing. Um-"

"How long was he here?"

"Um, I brought him home after we checked out of the hospital. It was nothing serious, we were just making sure he was good and everything. So I drove him here because he couldn't drive himself cause we left his motorcycle at his shop."

"So he was here all night and almost all day?" Louis asked.

"No, no we went out for coffee and uh, we just hung out around town..." Liam sheepishly admitted. He repeatedly cleared his throat and adjusted himself in his seat.

"So I guess you're really good friends then...?" Louis trailed off very confusedly. His eyebrows furrowed close to his blue eyes and his hands fiddled distractedly with each other.

"Uh, yeah, yeah we are." Liam coughed. He rubbed his hand over his face. He held his eyes closed for a few seconds and then looked back up at Louis.

"Are you sure?" Louis double checked. Confusion laced his voice and he tried to be as gentle as he could.

"Yeah, yeah. Zayn's cool..."

"I know he's cool-"

"Louis! Just leave me the fuck alone, okay?! So what if I spend the whole day with him?! God! I'm going to bed"

"O-okay. Good, uh goodnight I guess."  But Liam was already gone.

Louis woke up to the sound of trumpets blaring through his radio. He groaned as he sat up and remembered last night. Liam was very even-tempered - he was kind - so Louis was extremely confused about why he would have such a sudden out-burst. Louis sighed and ran his hand through his hair. Liam would tell him in time, the older  just had to give him space. He threw on a t-shirt over his boxers and walked out to the kitchen where Liam was making breakfast.

"Morning," Liam said over the sizzling bacon.

"Care for some bacon and eggs?" he asked while stuffing a piece in his mouth.

"Crap! Hot, hot, hot!" he exclaimed as he fanned his tongue. Louis laughed and sat at the bar. Liam pushed a plate in front of him and told him, "It's hot, alright? Be careful, man, don't burn off your taste-buds like I did."

"Fuck that. I want my breakfast now," he said chuckling and shoved eggs in his mouth along with bacon to add taste. Louis moaned and threw his head back.

"It's better than sex!" he yelled, shoveling more food into his mouth.

"Alright, alright, don't choke," Liam told Louis. He sat down next to Louis with his own plate of food and moaned with the first bite.
